The funny thing is that the gay Christmas scene kinda fails as a parallel given we don't know anything about those gay dads and the dead wife.

Especially with how Stolas is a massive scumbag who just had one affair when he treats his daughter like shit, treats Blitzo like shit until Mastermind, and is a manchild who wants to live like a soap opera character. Not to mention Stolas was in an arranged marriage which was established this season and that town IMP traveled to is clearly an American suburb which last I checked aren't known for arranged marriages.

I know I'm looking deep into it but it's just a failure of an allegory and trivializes Stolas even more as a character.

Given that Viviz revealed Octavia is asexual during Pride Month, watch the next season have episode where she refuses to be in a relationship and Stolas is to blame.

From what I've seen it's more a symptom of autism in women, who already tend to have less interest in sex than men. The autism makes them more internally focused on their own interests and just the whole normal human mating desire just never kicks in at puberty.

Even bog standard lesbians suffer bed death because of the lower female libido, being an autist means you're already detached to some level from normal human functionality. Doesn't happen to all of them, but some just mentally never develop to that level where a partner seems interesting or worthwhile compared to collecting Sonic the Hedgehog dolls.

They could get sex if they wanted, because that's easy for a woman. A relationship would be out of reach, but random casual sex to not be a virgin. Effortless, but it's just not as interesting as whatever fandom they latched onto.

Everyone who opposes Stolas is more morally consistent than Stolas. Andrealphus is obviously a schemeing douchebag but he is also demon royality. If he didn't act like that, it'd be even worse. Him and Stella neglecting(?) Octavia is such a transparent attempt to make them more villainous but it's not like they're the reason she doesn't have a father anymore.

It does feel that she loved or at least respected him, before the affair and before all the retcons from S2 started. As far back as Loo Loo Land in S1 there was a portrait where she doesn't look angry, you could even say she looks proud or fond of him? She was getting in the way of the fujo fantasies, so naturally she had to be changed to just hate him for no reason.

And yet people will tell you that there's no depth to Stella, that she was always horrible, and that any evidence to the contrary is headcanon or coincidence.

And that's why I always bring up these sort of questions when people say that Stella never cared for Stolas or Octavia: Why did she sleep in the same bed as Stolas after Octavia was born if she always hated him? Why did she say "our bed" when she found out Stolas was sleeping with an imp if she never cared about the marriage? Why did she call Stolas a "cheating prick" on the phone with Striker if the cheating didn't hurt her? Why did she go to a knock-off amusement park for imps with her family if she didn't love her daughter and want her to be happy? All these things don't add up to the raging psychotic bitch we're supposed to see. It sounds more like a woman who wanted a happy family life, even when the marriage was failing, and she went downward spiraling after she found out the man she loved cheated on her with one of the lowest classes.

I know that adding a baby to the cast is often a sign of desperation (ie The old Fairly Oddparents with Poof), and I have no idea how this’ll go. Personally my best case scenario is that the baby is unnaturally really good with guns and problem solving, like Maggie from The Simpsons.

I also glanced at the Vivziepop Critical tag, and apparently it’s being invaded by stans. Which doesn’t surprise me, I often see the replies flooded by one user, ragegamingzombie or something, who has Viv’s dick so far down her throat I can see it coming out her ass. Also the antis are stupid enough to fall for Gaza scam messages. If the last scenario happens, I'm going to laugh out loud since, during the battle, Andrealphus hit Millie with his ice powers so hard it sent her crashing into the weapons room of Andrealphus castle yet the baby is likely fine. You can't imply the baby is still alive after its mother was involved in a big fight scene just because you didn't show the positive pregnancy test. The characters' durability is another problem when it comes to the lore. One moment they take copious amounts of damage and are unfazed like they're Looney Toons and in another moment they get hurt so bad they need bandages and casts (see Millie getting her leg caught in bear trap).
