Heyo 200! I feel like as of late dev’s stupitity has only accelerated. One thing I’ve noticed is that he usually starts shit after he releases a video. It’s a bad strategy but he’s trying to promote his content maybe?

I think its a few things
1. Dev got more retarded. That's indisputible.
2. The Aydin Paladin shit. That generated attention for months.
3. More people joined the thread and posted content so we could see what he was doing

Probably because he’s been fighting alot more with his audience and people on xitter. Disgruntled they come here to post his idiocy. Like in years past he was fine. but this year post assasination something in him broke.

It all started with him targettin Pikamee in 2023, but he was a hidden lolcow, one that knew how to keep himself as such behind pleasent voice and well structured scripted content, but at the end ended up with dogshit takes that people didnt paid any attention until now.

For those in a scorekeeping mood, In no order, he:

1. Declared that Pikamee, who objectively did nothing wrong, other than play a video game that troons didn't like, was "weak" for not being able to stand up to a harassment campaign in which she got hundreds of outright death threats from screeching lunatics on Twitter, once again, for the high crime of playing a fucking video game they didn't like. This made immediate enemies of not only Pikamee's fandom, but quite literally everyone associated with VOMS, who promptly recommended that Dev should fornicate himself with a fencepost.

2. While this was happening, multiple high-profile vtubers like Silvervale and Baelz also got harassed to a fucking insane degree. Dev, meanwhile, was still doing his little victory lap about how awesome and correct his braindead take was, and how indeed, Pikamee was weak for failing to handle the harassment. This immediately pissed off three seperate vtuber fandoms, and to this day they consider him a braindead retard of Ethan Ralph scale.

3. You then had what he did to Kirsche, pissing off Pippa and the bulk of Phase Connect, bringing the total number of fandoms that hate Dev's stupid guts to four and cementing that he was, if anything, infinitely worse than what his shithead behavior towards Pikamee and subsequent doubling down made him out to be. Before, people thought he was a braindead clout-chasing retard, but now they knew him to be a vindictive, petty, and malicious braindead clout-chasing retard.

I am not a Dev apologist, but I can't help but think if a male streamer got the same harassment and gave up, a huge chunk of people would behave the same way, specially here, saying he is a "gutless nigger" or whatever.

Now this I do remember. I'd argue this is where a lot of people found out about him, at least recently. He literally has a meme video now of Pippa wishing him getting hit by a bus.

Well, yes.
We apply different standards to men and women. A man being harassed should take all that on the chin and be stoic. A woman being harassed should also attempt to take it and deal with it but she most likely won't be able to because a woman isn't made to withstand the same pressure.
