Around 2016 there was a subreddit r/TheDonald. It was a major hub of Trump's online fanbase. It was a more palatable (i.e. not as racist) version of 4chans Pepe MAGA frog memes.

Reddit throttled it. Then censored it. Then eventually banned it. Which was part of the overall wave of social media censoring of the right wing or anti-woke.

r/TheDonald migrated to their own website, and after internal betrayal and drama ended up with Patriots.win as their website.

I checked in on them today. Seems like whoever runs the place is trying to steer the users towards pro-Elon pro-H1B side. And the users are not cooperating and dissenting.

The mods pin/sticky threads they want to be popular. They are heavy handed in this.
Their first attempt at narrative control did not go well:

The Gateway Pundit is a common news source on Patriots.win so censoring it would be very obvious.

The mods newest attempt to narrative control is to say that the liberal left MSM is attempting to drive a wedge between Trump and Elon with the "H1B psyop". The users are having none of it.


I do not post their, but was curious to see how the more Steve Bannon adjacent MAGA people were reacting.

H1b get almost no benefits. No retirement. No health benefits. No Medicare/social security (yes I know it won't be there when current crop retires but they still don't have to match it). If they are fired or let go, there is no severance pay. While actual salary may be comparable, the benefits of the job in terms of healthcare, childcare, and job security are not there. There is often no upward movement for them. If they ask for a raise, or argue about working conditions, the company can terminate the H1b contract and they are forced to move back to their origin country. It is an extremely large benefit to companies to hire on H1b than an actual employee.

If I remember it well Patriots.win also had a big issue with one of the founders jumping ship and turning coat on them, so it makes sense that the mods are not the hardcore MAGA people they were way back in the day and pushing shit like this.

The actual MAGA people who started that community are long gone now some of them were pretty chill for sure though. It wasn't even that reddit banned them either before the ban reddit would force mods in above the founders to moderate and also unmodded everyone to try to get the board deleted due to no moderation or whatever. It was actually pretty crazy how hard reddit was trying to directly fuck with them still haven't seen it that bad at any other time.

Well unfortunately the stock market has made everything work like that. Nobody cares about how a decision is going to completely fuck things in a few years, the only thing that matters is making the line go up today. If the line goes up today you did great work, when it all falls apart you'll be in another company anyway.
This is also why tech loves poojeets. Wow you wrote a million lines of shitty spaghetti code? Amazing, our white guys did the same job but only did 1000 lines of code and this means you did more!
Poojeets get the app working in half the time using copy/pasted code, it'll create 100x as much work when we try to add other stuff later but today they got it working faster so they're great! Saved us so much time and money!

Not to sound like a libertarian (or a dumbass,) but how would you offset a decent wage for your farmers without upping the price of your goods?

When we were kids we were brought to strawberry farms to pick our own. We loved that shit! Also had a friend with an orchard and kept bees. Again, loved going there and picking raspberries and peaches.

Closer to the ground, kids are. So bending down isn't as hard. Plus all kids SHOULD love climbing trees, get 'em on up there and have 'em chuck the fruit down. Put a target on the collection tarp or basket. Make a game out of it (whoever picks the most X gets Y).

In short, lower the age of child labor laws to allow farm kids to work part of the day during harvest time. It'd get them off of the clock app and teach them hard work. Plus fresh air and exercise.

As someone who graduated with an STEM degree and is currently fighting the jeet hordes for any job that isn't a low pay help desk job, this really makes me MATI.

Corporations nowadays are not willing to give the fresh White men out from college a chance in the workforce, when they can hire foreign nonwhites who are able to work slave hours for less wages. They also have an incentive both financially and politically/optically to replace Whites in pursuit of the DEI initiative. The American people are being treated like second class citizens in their own country while third world scum get treated like kings.

I work in the sector. I have had juniors doing better work than some established developers and lightyears beyond the shit the jeets crap out.
