I should point out that there has been a major difference between Trump supporters immediately dooming when something bad like the H1B thing happens, and Democrat supporters who insist they walk on water despite a thousand different things, such as making a senior old man president and trying to make a pajeet who slept her way to the top president.

A lot of people care about policy and promises when they voted for Trump, they got sold a vision that is now looking a little shakey. Most Dem voters just care about teams and it's "vote blue no matter who" and calling out their own side will only help the enemy.

I don't think it's unlikely, simply because of the people around Musk. I look at what Vance is posting now. Trump is saying nothing publicly yet. I think this is a way to break Elon out of his bubble. The world has said No to the rich man, and he's throwing a tantrum. Honestly the more I watch this situation unfold, the more I think that this was planned. Hopefully some good comes of it, some humility.
