In my small Polish town at the ass-end of Nowhere, three Indians opened a kebab booth maybe 7 years ago. It's everything you'd expect review-wise, but one funny thing one of them did is how he used to restock: he actually went to the nearest Walmart-equivalent to buy a full cart of soda drinks and such, then dragged by hand the full cart all the way to the booth, making a lot of noise in the process. It wasn't very far, maybe a rock's throw away, but it was hilarious seeing him doing that out in the open with zero shame, letting everyone know they're paying twice for Cola or whatever they could buy cheaper literally next door. I've never seen anything like that in my life.

He stopped doing that, probably got yelled at by a shift manager for trying to steal the cart or something. Now they're putting that shit in the car and drive it to the booth like normal people.

SiFive makes RISC-V CPUs and the aerospace industry has gone in hard on RISC-V. I wouldn't be surprised if he was actually involved in designing some SoC for a SpaceX contract.

I heard someone suggest they paniced, forgot to put the landing gear down, realized they had fucked up and instead of slowing to a stop they tried to pull up while scraping the entire plane across the ground and welp, game over. Just one pilot error after another after a single unexpected event.

Not to get off topic, but South Korea has always baffled me with how it postures as a first world society - but continually has these Jeet-level fuck ups that result in large loss of human life. See: ferry tragedy, the halloween crowd crush, the fire at the tiny apartment buildings that barely have any standards. AFAIK, even the previous Boeing crashes weren't caused by jeetcode, it was just a result of Boeing deciding to fix a hardware issue (namely the change in the centre of gravity of the jet caused by hastily attaching a new, more efficient engine in order to compete with Airbus' new jet) with software. And of course the crashes happened with pilots from the Third World who weren't given enough training on what to do in the even of the MCAS engaging when it isn't supposed to.
