Apparently there's already footage of him fawning over the blue haired chick (I think she's an Midnight Suns character? I don't really follow them), giving her MJ's jackpot line and everything.

Her name is Nico Minoru and she's in the Runaways comics. She is in Midnight Suns.

Anyway, I can't get over how ugly the art style is despite being a homage to early Spider-Man comics. Maybe if it was regular 2D animation instead looking and feeling like a 3DCG anime (the animation is done by a Japanese studio).

And of course, it wouldn't be a modern reboot without characters getting race-swapped.

They made a villain character that betrays Peter in the future and kills his girlfriend black. What do they mean by this?

I think the remix of the classic 60's theme gave me cancer.
Not a fan of this

The animation looks awful

The fact it has other superheros prominent is a problem to me

And the whole thing where Norman and Peter's relationship is just like the MCU Peter and Tony relationship (except when Norman inevitably becomes evil) is just annoying.

At this point, Disney should just look at the two good Spider-Man shows they have and just give it a continuation instead of forcing Spider-Man in shows that interact with the wider Marvel universe.

considering how they handled the 90s X-Men show....no they shouldn't

How the FUCK was this shit produced by Polygon Pictures?? Its the studio behind Transformers Prime for God's sake

I know I'm late for this but his backstory is literally the greatest villain origin story since Heart of Ice from Batman The Animated Series.
Wakfu is really fascinating to me because the whole thing is based on a French MMO from the early 2000's and the first season is like an all-time top 10 adventure show for children with great individual episodes, a fantastic overarching villain, cool story and lore, etc. Then with each progressive season it gets a bit more actiony, greater focus on romance (even a bit risque in some places) and I would say Season 4 is pretty much aimed at adults. And one of the only foreign language shows I watch that isn't Japanese (still watch subtitled, tho).

Wakfu's first two seasons are good, yeah. Though once I reached OVA goddamn did so much of my investment slip.
Sucks that Kim went down, now I've got no clue where to rewatch the sub when I'm not on my laptop.

Reactions: The Cunting Death
Watching The Boondocks. I cannot believe this show exists and manages to be so fucking good. It's like it came from a whole other reality where satire could actually be funny.

Because it takes shots at both White AND Black culture.

Its writers were smart and ballsy enough to recognize that nigger culture is fucking awful and should be derided for the farcical street ape performance nonsense it always was. Which leads to it being, mostly, fantastic and hilarious that so many SocJoc's love it despite it being a harsh critique of the very group they claim to defend because they are too stupid to get it.
