I don't get it - Embrace your inner The Last Stand

Smart Home shit. Most of it seems just unnecessary, spending all this money and setup time to do something that was barely an inconvenience in the first place. Oh I can speak to a thing to turn my lights on or off? I can also just take 3 steps and flip the switch myself. It can open my curtains for me? So can a little thing called my hands. I just don't get how any of these things are an inconvenience that need to be automated.

How people are so enamored with baby talk. An infant struggling to speak isn't cute or interesting. Your two year old calling a seagull something like "Sega" isn't something mindblowing or adorable.

How and why Russia was considered a White ethnostate because of the war.

Why does my wife refuse to clean the door seal of the washing machine? Pet dander and other gunk gets in there. I clean it after every load and I have asked her to do it for years. She never does it. I don't get it.
What is there to get?

She doesn't care, she forgets, she is lazy, or she expects you to do it.

I don't get why you married her.

Thread tax: I probably said this, but why give older people smartphones/computers if they barely know how to use them?

Here's another one: this whole electric car craze. It started with Toyatos with Priuses, now it's Musk with Telsas. Even more confusing is that because of Musk's politics (that's another story), Telsas aren't viewed as well as Pruises.

Math question: how can something go up beyond 100%? What is the math logic there?

Why when I take off a sweater, I risk shocking myself? I can HEAR the static electricity when I remove it.

Maybe I'm not understanding the question, but if it's going up over 100% it's just the thing has more than doubled.

As an example, stock prices. You have one share of a stock that's valued at $1 per share. If it goes up 5% then the share is now worth $1.05. If it goes up 100% from its original price of a dollar then it's now worth $2 per share. If it had gone up 101% then it'd be worth $2.01, etc.

All these Star Wars video games, shows, spinoffs, are they ALL canon to one another? Is it just ONE BIG universe?

I think they're mixing things, like when something reaches its full, finite capacity, so like: how can something take 120% of the space within the room? That doesn't make sense, maximum is 100%, beyond that goes outside the room.

Or any other example where the last frontier is that 100%; more common in practical examples rather than in theoretical ones (where the number can go over whichever percent regardless of natural limitations).

What did Elon Musk see in his Cybertruck design?
All that I'll say is complete speculation:

Probably the chance of making something "new" and "original" that could revolutionize the industry, moving something into one direction with these aesthetics. Maybe a "passion project" that a mega-rich person would risk, "go big/bold or go home".

Have you also heard about his children's names? It has to be 🚀🪐 🌠 """special""" ⭐🌟💫 🍮
