Live updates: Brush fire burns in Pacific Palisades as Santa Ana winds blast Southern California - Live video at link

You know, there's a conspiracy theory here in Cali that purports that we force our prisoners and undesirables that are jailed and imprisoned to become "Volunteer Firefighters" for these bigass fires, with the "Volunteers" usually being the ones that "Die heroically" trying to stop the fires due to being given less equipment and training.

Southern California is literally desert and the Santa Ana winds are a yearly occurrence. We didn't have these constant fires when I was growing up because (gasp) the state actually maintained the land, infrastructure and gave police and fire fighters the resources it needed instead of spending the budget on illegals, homeless and gay orgies.
You’re 1000% correct. This is happening not because of a lack of resources but mismanagement of natural, financial, and Human Resources. It’s only going to get worse…

Family, desire to be part of the fight to change the culture, you work in entertainment but aren’t woke like James Woods.

lol "fight to change the culture". There is no fight. Its just a bunch of grumpy cucked "conservatives" yelling at social media content to live out their lives as cucked cashcows for the democratic machine. They lose more and more rights every year. Any "wins" they have are cringe and fake. For example, SD judge allows regular magazines? It gets stayed right away and you still have gay featureless rifles while people living in a free state never had to worry about magazine laws and could buy one off the shelf. Every year more and more of your money gets taken used to pay for the increasing amount of ways to oppress you, along with the grow population of illegals, trannies, and whatever trash the population votes to pay for during elections.
Great culture war faggots.

You know what would fix a lot of problems? IF leaders of local governments had their lives on the line during natural disaster fuck ups
Almost all of this nations problems would be fixed almost overnight if politicians had to deal with the consequences of their decisions like they used to

Okay, doomer.

I listened to part of the press conference on a fox stream, if I were a local then I'd be fed posting. The fire chief says 'We currently have zero percent containment....' then a few sentences later, 'Now is a time for gratitude.'

What in the actual fuck is wrong with these people? Their city is on fire, people are dead, they are doing an objectively bad job, and the chief is like, "We should come together and be thankful for all our shit first responders. They are failing to fight this fire but you should still be so thankful to have us."

Also what is the deal with these sign language retards. If you have eyes to see sign language, don't you have eyes to read closed captions? And why do the sign language people make retarded faces. Like they are a clown trying to summon demons. I have trouble focusing with black Israelite Chris chan on the right trying to summon sonichu to fight hate or what the fuck ever.
The fire chief is like, I know this fire is horrible and some of you may have died, but there are children in Africa who would love to live here, so be grateful.

The dams that were recently removed are on the Oregon border. There is literally no way to get water from the Klamath River to LA.
I am skeptical. There have been massive civil & geoengineering projects in the US before to redirect the courses of rivers before. What's the elevation difference between where the Klamath river enters California and LA?

Also, some people may have insurance policies that require them to take every possible course of action to prevent or reduce loss when the person knows that the property insured against is in imminent danger. If they fail to do so, then the company can deny the claim. I don't know how that would hold up, though, considering that a reasonable person would assume that it's probably not safe to be inside your house if the house directly adjacent is up in flames. Insurance policies in general can have very specific provisions, but I'd say especially when it comes to particular types of personal property, artwork being one of them
Insurance companies are the absolute masters of finding the most utterly Talmudic justification for refusing to pay out in the wake of a disaster.

Not in the hills you retard, those grasses are native. All the people jerking off about eucalyptus ignore the dozens of perfectly flammable native plants that actually carry the fire.
And like elsewhere in California, some of those native plants require periodic blazes as part of their lifecycle.

That’s what the tanker DC 10s are for. There are a lot of firefighting planes in CA. Some can scoop water from a lake and drop and some are fills from airports.
Did you miss the part about the high winds in the area that are what making the blaze so bad? Those tanker DC10s have to fly low and slow to dump that water where it needs to go. The winds that are helping fire consume everything on those hills are high enough that the planes can't safely fly where they need to be.

Daylight videos are appearing.
Damn, nothing but the classic brick work and other masonry remains.

I can't imagine needing to outrun fire.
At this scale, you don't. You are merely mobile fuel for it.

Absolutely, they put $400k worth of housing material on top and sell it for $4 million based off the view and location.
400k of modern housing material that burns even easier, hotter, and faster than the material of old.

Almost all of this nations problems would be fixed almost overnight if politicians had to deal with the consequences of their decisions like they used to
And the rest of them would be solved, if you stop funding people who barely work their tranny surgery, food stamps and housing.
Oh and remove Israel from US politics also but that's a different beast lol

Los Angeles is burning!

It's really weird seeing reality outshine Demolition Man's depiction of LA post societal collapse.

My LA burns OST choice is as follows (sorry if it was already picked, half the YouTube embeds on this thread don't display):
