VoidBurger has a hard time grasping the concept of other people having different opinions than her, it seems.

I remember anti-GG people being like "Yo, undertale is great." and pro-GG people being like "Yeah, I agree." and then seeing a bunch of neckbeards and fat dangerhairs staredown in forums. It was like a western showdown, except instead of the sound of a tumbleweed passing by it was like listening to a jar full of water slooshing around back and forth.

So some additional context about SA LP culture.

Shamefully I was a big fan of LPs back in the day. Mostly watching games I'd been shit at when I was a kid. Originally they'd been screenshot based, cause video hosting sites were shit, then when video stuff got better people hosted shit on google videos and dailymotion and a couple others, now long defunct. Nothing on youtube though cause youtube had fucking terrible quality and restrictive video length limits.

Let's Plays were genuinely an SA invention, because of the infancy of video hosting nobody had done that MST3K thing before with videogames. There was typical goon elitism, shittier LPers got picked on a lot, prior to retsuprae. Hosting anything on youtube was enough to get even goons shitlisted.

But then when the concept spread, holy shit the salt. To the LP subforum everyone on other sites was A) ripping SA off, and B) doing it wrong.

There was some credence to that. Youtube was extremely shitty, and SA back then had some really genuinely funny LPers. But as time wore on, youtube got better, external LPers got more popular, and SA's lpers got worse.

They think this about pretty much everything they do, though.

I don't think there's anything bad about LPs. I have enjoyed watching LPs for a few years now. I'm still watching Chip Cheezum's LPs, I'm not going to stop enjoying them no matter how many safety pins Ironicus clips to his shirt in lieu of doing actual work for social change. I can separate the product from the politics.

Speaking of, how is the whole "we stand with Voidburger" walk-off going? Are any of them putting a hiatus on their production or whatever? Does it say something about the impact their decision had when I didn't even think about it til now?

I seem to remember a fair number of people on tumblr and twitter and other such Social Justice hellholes that seemed absolutely convinced that there was some weird mRA neckbeard hateboner for the game that I only saw like, once or twice. It was far less prevalent than SJWs complaining about MRAs with weird Undertale hateboners ever were.

most of the time, i had no problem with what RP was roasting, those were some horrible videos
horrible sound quality, horrible "camcorder" picture, horrible commentary.

anytime a game does something SJWs like they immediately assume the FUCKING NORMIES NAZI GAMERGATER WHITE MALES must hate it (e.g. tracer being gay)... and then they shit themselves and cry over the fact that aforementioned normies don't give a shit or are all for it.

Pretty sure they've been unaffected. But that reminds me.

So you know how different boards on SA might as well be different websites? While anyone on the General subforum could just point and laugh at assholes like voidburger and make fun of them, a couple guys tried the same on the LP subforum (one even used the rat-race fuckers quote posted here) and got insta-banned/probated.
The LP forum is moderated by "Geop" and "Fedule". The latter showed up in the other SA thread and is a full on Zoe Quinn cool-aid drinker, right down to linking to CON on "How to not get doxxed". But what do these mods have to do with anything?

Let's just say an unfunny indie game "studio" popped up in recent years and just so happened to actually "employ" them, Voidburger, and PsychedelicEyeball, making crappy FMV and VR games with "ironic" inside/anime humor. I'm sure that'd be no surprise at all!
Seriously, look up how shitty their games are. If anyone ever thought LPers could somehow make fun or playable games, then lol. Guess again. But it seriously serves to show just how networked together these assholes are.

I enjoyed old RP, but I always found it hilarious how slowbeef would screech like an autist at children to kill themselves for being shitty at his favorite games. Then he became fatally anally wounded when he got called a cyberbully. Dude was a tryhard from the beginning.

And I never understood why Deceased Crab was so popular in the early days;he was a dickhead to his fans, he wasn't funny , and his voice was awful.
