I know the top one is Marines Malevolent but what's the bottom one? I see the Blood Angel's heraldry(?) but the only ones in black I know are the Angels Penitent and Death Company...it might obviously be the Death Company now that I look at it again.

jfc. I made it 5 minutes in. He's complained about people complaining about femstodes, claims no one plays custodes(I was just at a 20 person RTT last weekend with 3 custodes players, and none of them had female heads on their minis, not to mention their new detachment seems to be one of the better off grotmas detachments after some initial results post holidays), and then the guy starts talking about what is and isn't fascist propaganda with Starship Troopers.
This soy faced sounds like a grown ass man in his 30s, low T idiot needs to grow some balls, facial hair, and just accept that some people want to have their army guys beat up someone else's army guys and just roll some fucking dice. I skipped around in the video and around 13 minutes he's bitching about the space marine 2 video game, fascists just going around committing crimes against humanity, etc. They're fighting a fucking tyranid invasion for one part, and then a fucking chaos demon incursion in the next. What fucking crimes against humanity?
And yeah, dude seems to understand warhammer about as much as quarter pounder does, yet he was the one that posted the clip show of quartering on youtube trying to call him out for being a tourist...
I don't want either of these fucks in the hobby.

Drama-wise, the November discord fuckery was the last thing i got in my radar and seemed to have gone nowhere, i might give it a look over to see id anything happened. However, the Kickstarter STLs had some pretty egregious issues

Death riders are an original part of the Krieg lineup, added when the range became more than an image in a regiment lineup from earlier 40k. They’re far more integral to the Krieg range than some getting some more unique artillery

Krieg's entire appeal is guys wearing World War 1 trench coats and gas masks, and grimderp lore people who think it's about teenagers charging machine gun fire.
This is why I say "third party" a lot, because "guys in long coat + gas mask" is either widely available, or easy to kitbash.
There's some interesting theories about this.
In short, certain YouTubers (Dungeons and Dragons, Star Wars, comic books, etc) are complaining about how YouTube isn't promoting their videos any more. That it's clickbait and drama or bust since no one cares about DM advice/lore/review/etc. any more. Even good shows and hate content is losing viewership.
However, ClownfishTV pointed out that it could be because people have lost interest. Comics are so dead that all but the most online people bother to check on them because everyone else has given up. Last I heard DC was putting out an official Harley Quinn fart fetish comic. People are so checked out with Star Wars that even shows some fans like are getting no views. Same with Indiana Jones, Dr Who, He Man, Transformers, the list goes on and on. And I'm guessing GW is starting to follow suit. All but the most die hard fans have given up on waiting for things to improve and have moved on. And worse, they aren't coming back.
In my previous wall of text, I mentioned "Joe Hobby" who is ignorant of online discourse and sold his 40k collection to pursue Bolt Action, Airfix, and Tamiya. Unless GW pulls off something so amazing as to make him sit up and pay attention, he's gone for good. And no, some new Kreig sculpts or some Netflix shorts isn't going to do that.

they are getting the xenos treatment, perhaps one book every 2-3 years, (more if one of the BL authors takes a liking to them, which could be a negative, just ask tau fans how much they love phil kelly) good news is squats are quite fleshed out in the necromunda sourcebooks they appear in
the real issue is its clearly half an army, Geedubs loves this anti consumer release cycle with their new factions where they release half of the army one edition and then the rest of the army the next, if at all (poor poor thousand sons with half their range being age of sigmar refugees) so people are forced to buy multiples of the same kits just to make a 2k army, and then bam the new codex comes out with another 5-6 units and suddenly you dont need 9 of the 18 bikes you bought.

This is unlikely, the company they partnered with to print their models are known for having delays of multiple months and screwing up orders.
I'm aware, some people will still get stuff though, and that'll generate another hype push from the community, batreps from wargaming channels again, and so on. It'll still die off right after that again though, even faster if the production company fails like usual.

Trench Crusade doesnt rely on ready made models, even basic kitbashes are common, it might be ironic but you can use kriegers to kitbash the heretics and various sigmar types to get various pieces, people still shackled to GW for retarded reasons have ways to consoom the indie astroturf without actually picking up a box of historicals

But otherwise i predict that TC will simply go the way of the 9th Age (the WHFB fan-successor) or Turnip 28 (python-esque rank and flank) where there are dedicated kitbashers and fags on discords circlejerking

He clearly never read the book either and bases his entire argument on the movie only, to the point of sympathizing with the Arachnids. The director of the movie, as kickass as that movie is, is said to have never read the book beyond the first page or two simply because he didn't like it and (probably) because it didn't have enough material right of the bat for him to mock as fascist propaganda (raincheck), which is why he made the changes to the movie so he can make it a satire, even then I'd argue he failed to a degree.

Yeah me too, I really don't see GW doing anything interesting with them which is a shame. This is the perfect opportunity to at least partly show off what the DAoT of truly capable of, but nope. Personally I want to see more Dwarfy tropes with them, and not just shit like DRG but like the Dawi, maybe some Dwarf Fortress "dug too deep" stuff which could help flesh out why they were gone so long (aside from Tyranids). Would be more interesting if the Ancestor Cores simply said that the information regarding the Squat's history was corrupted but in reality they're hiding it in order to prevent another "incident" (what that incident could be should be left unknown, only that it was devastating).
That's more likely the problem, no one stays on the same topic forever. Various content creators I enjoy I only watch every so often as to not get burned out. Can't imagine how much of a headache it is to try and enjoy content you used to love, like comics and movies, that now just hate you and want you to know it while also wanting you to consoom or else they'll label you an overused buzzword...

We all really got into it with 7th ed, although most of us had some Warhammer stuff (both 40k and fantasy) from way back when. I was the only one who regularly did those big blast templates though, and even then i had a grand total of one Leman Russ and (in my last 7th ed match) one Manticore.
I do admit to nostalgia goggles here, and i might get into 10th ed if i get some matches in, but right now it's all a bit meh to me
