That doesn't reflect badly on him as a lawyer unless you're saying he should have been able to prevent Muhammad from getting the death penalty. Everyone who is accused of a crime is entitled to legal representation. I really don't see Heilburg as some disgraced lawyer, he seems pretty prominent in his region.

Oh, he's pretty well-known in the area, and nobody's gone so far as to say he's disgraced or similar. But he's not particularly well-liked for two reasons:
  1. Defending John Allen Muhammad. I agree with your points re: everyone deserving representation, but this is one of those things where it's really impossible to adequately describe how entirely hated by the public in that part of the world Muhammed was unless you were there at the time. Keep in mind that Charlottesville, while not exactly a bedroom community for DC, has a reasonable number of folks who do work there x number of days per week. Basically, he applied his phalanges to the faeces.
  2. Defending sex offenders. He's defended people who really should have been locked up (or just flat-out put down) and managed to get their sentences either reduced or knocked down to something that places them in a group home for molesters or similar. Problem is, these people are committing crimes that are deeply destructive to the victims, have a high recidivism rate, and a strong tendency for the criminal to go after the victim after release. That's not going to win friends and influence people unless you're looking to tard card out of an incest trial for motherfucking.
You can read more about his accomplishments at his Super Lawyers profile. Here is an excerpt:

Sure, but remember that SuperLawyers is basically advertising; no lawyer will say anything there (or anywhere, really) that reflects badly on him or her. And it's more than possible for someone to be experienced in their field but still be a pile of crap at the end of the day. Keep in mind that he's not defending these people out of a sense of justice or altruism, but rather for his own benefit.

Just a small update.
I have noticed something on the CWCki which piqued my interest. Now, I follow his Duolingo for a while and I have noticed Chris has suddenly almost stopped getting points.

Only two days two thus far, the last dot is today and it's still 11 AM for him if he's in Finland, so I will continue to monitor it. I suspect he might be returning from Finland now, judging this, but this could be just Chris's laziness kicking in.

What's more interesting is that Chris has started learning Japanese now.

First of all, good luck, Japanese in Duolingo notoriously sucks. If you wanna learn it, Genki 1 and 2 are far better.
Second of all, bar his obvious love of anime, Chris stated he did want to visit Japan a few times. In May, while he was still in Finland the first time, he also published the following tweet:

I wonder if he actually pulls through with this and if Flutter's gonna follow him through this...

I knew he was thinking of country hopping at some point.

This also hints that at least some of the pictures taken are legit; Chris doesn't like to be a Tardsquatch.

Again, I don't see a reason why Flutter would doxx herself.
Unless some Praetor reveals it was all an elaborate stunt, I refuse to believe any of them were faked.

If this was all an elaborate hoax or stunt, they all seem a little stuck as they haven't done anything new for months.

I think we all just want it to be something rather than nothing. Wishful thinking, wish fulfillment, whatever you want to call it.

But, knowing the days of endless content, I don't really blame anyone for wanting it to be something.

Even if he doesn't go to Japan, the question is still hanging in the air: who is financing all of this travel?

A ton of possibilities have been kicked around at various times, but nothing concrete has ever really come of them. My gut's telling me that following the money is going to be key to figuring out what may be going on.

It ain't going to be the tugboat, I can tell you that.

Barb never did anything for anyone unless she saw something in it for herself, like Tardsquatch of course.

Caden is broke but of course that's been months ago; he could have made his money back with the shop and Chris's rent.

Wasn't it confirmed that Caden was taking the lion's share of whatever money Chris was making?

I'm really suspecting Flutter.

I don't think she works. Not just anyone can take off any god-given notice and fly from country to country unless they have money.

And either a real flexible job or no job at all.

Of course all speculation but I still think she is a trust fund tard to Chris's tugboat tard.

100000000% guaranteed.

Frankly, I doubt she's close enough to Chris these days to even think of giving (or loaning) him money. Until we see them holding hands in public and shopping for lingerie together, that relationship is most likely able to be considered dead.

Caden is broke but of course that's been months ago; he could have made his money back with the shop and Chris's rent.

Yes, but:

Wasn't it confirmed that Caden was taking the lion's share of whatever money Chris was making?

He was. Thing is, the market for Sonichu medallions seems like something that's a) limited and b) seasonal. At this point, it's probably saturated for those who just happened to want one, and everyone who ordered one for Christmas lulz is done until later this year. Sure, there'll be a few sold throughout the year, but unless there's a particularly spectacular moment of tard rage or similar, that stream has likely slowed to barely a trickle.

I'm really suspecting Flutter.

Agreed that she's part of the equation, possibly even all of it.

Getting any sort of audit trail on this would not be something that's going to happen easily or quickly.

Chris never had his tugboat terminated while in jail and it was confirmed by Praetor. His pattern of spending shortly after release also suggests so. This means he has spent 19 months worth of saved tugboat alongside his 19 months of normal tugboat, effectively doubling it. He has also got livestream money and some part of the sales. Now, a lot of that went to Caden and he really didn't spend that much himself, but it is well enough to cover the cost of flights. If Chris wasted all of his, Flutter could probably cover the costs because she def has the money to fly to USA by herself so much.

If there's anything the Japanese absolutely love, especially these days, are gross, obnoxious, loud foreigners who don't know the concept of personal boundaries.

You know, I've never really done a rough breakdown of where Chris' income goes. And in this case, when I say 'rough', we're talking about a figurative 40-grit sandpaper condom.

The saved tugboat has to be exhausted - or at least pretty close to it - by now. The last solid figure we had for it was in 2014, when it was $1300/month. Assuming it's up to $1500/month by now, 19 months of unspent gubmint fun bux comes out to $28,500. Figuring on his two largest known expenses since he was released at the end of March, 2023 (let's call it April 1st for easy figuring and lolz), we can work out how much of that he may have had at his disposal since then.

He bought a car when he got out of jail; that's $3500 right there. $25K remaining.

Let's say that he and Flutter went Dutch on the flights and each paid for their own airfare. As far as I know, he's been there 3 times. At today's economy seat rates through Expedia, booking a round trip from Lynchburg, VA to Helsinki, Finland, outbound on 02/13/2025 ('cos he's so romantic) and returning on 03/14/2025 is about $750 for the least-expensive flight. Given that China might be involved, I'll grant him the benefit of the doubt that he'll roll his fat ass out of bed early enough to make the cheap 5am flight out of Lynchburg. $2250 in travel, so we're at $22,750.

$22,750 divided by 21 months since his release comes out to an average of $1,083.33 per month in available income. We can knock about another $100 off of that since he has made reference to having two phones; I'm assuming that he's not with some shitty MVNO like Cricket or Boost. That takes us to $983.33/month, or about $245.83/week.

There's no telling if Barb was still paying the mortgage on 14BC out of the tugboat or not, so I'm going to disregard that for now. If she was, he'd be left with around $80/month plus whatever percentage of trinket sales he received, and there is no way in hell that Chris could live on that. Given how much of an unknown it is, it's being ignored.

What he would have spent in Finland is unmeasurable, but whatever it was it was almost certainly more per item than he would've spent in the US. Also ignoring.

We know that he has continued to buy toys (specifically Transformers), so some of it's going down that toilet. Still an unknown, still uncounted.

So, $245/week. That's less than half of what unemployment pays. Being super generous, let's double that number to $490/week ($1960/month) because Praetor had a really good sales month on Sonichu merch.

If the amount that his 'mortgage' runs to ($1000/month) is to be believed, he's back to $960/month, or around $240/week.

We know that he can't budget for shit, buys toys and other things he doesn't need, puts fuel in his car ($2.75/gallon in Lynchburg; 10-gallon tank; $27.50/tank), and eats out regularly. The only one of those that can reasonably be quantified is fuel, and since he lives in Big Island where absolutely nothing happens, he's gonna be running back and forth to at least Lynchburg multiple times per week. For easy figuring, he goes through a tank a week. That takes him down to $850/month, or $212.50/week.

So there's around $850/month unaccounted for. Bills will take up a portion of that, as will Wal-Mart, online purchases, etc. Going conservative on this, that's $350. So $500/month, or $125/week.

19 months of unspent tugboat at $500/month means that there's around $9500 in tugboat unaccounted for in nearly two years. That's easily blown through by his poor financial decisions over that timeframe.

Even playing fast-and-loose with the figures as I have here, seeing that he's potentially wasting that much per month on ugly leggings and MLP shit really shows how much lack of ability to survive in the real world he has.

Yup, it's pretty much as you've described above, he can pay for that very well. The main issue is that large unaccounted sum, which is most likely all going to Caden. That's what concerns me the most.

Edit: This might all just be schizo talk from me and them, so do not treat this with, y'know, full confidence, but Chris has returned to activity on Duolingo. Finnish, not Japanese.

Now, again, we have plenty of these pictureless sightings and they are always a bit fishy (That mental asylum one especially), so I can't take this at face value.
I contacted the fellow, and the results seem sorta promising, especially since the details do match their profile (they do indeed seem to live in Texas, judging from their Reddit activity, specifically plenty of posts in r/txstate).

As seen in the images, their friend is on the lookout. If this is in any way real, we might get something out of this. Wouldn't hold my breath tho.

Understood, but the sum's not that large when spread out over time: $500/month is a car payment these days. Chris could easily burn through that in MLP, Legos, and Transformers.

My gut feeling is that the tugboat is close to running out, and we'll see him e-begging again sometime this year. Which part of the year it happens in is anyone's guess, but it seems like we're approaching it.

Agreed, and my money's on it being a mistaken catch. It'd be a lot easier for them to go to Disney World in Florida from Helsinki than the park(s) in Anaheim, California - that would add an entire cross-country trip to the itinerary. To be fair, 'cross-country' is only a five-hour flight in this context, but it just seems more likely that they'd be at Disney World.

BTW: there are a ton of airports in the L.A. area. LAX is the main one, but Burbank, Ontario, and John Wayne (nearest to Disneyland in sort-of Irvine) would be the three most-used smaller ones.

Already happened, Chris tweeted on Bluesky a month ago saying he only has $500 in savings, begging people to buy items from Etsy so he can afford teeth removal.

FWIW, if he was down to $500 in savings back then, he's blown through the tugboat.

But yeah, I remember that one. Let's see where he sits over the next few months - this year seems like there's another financhu crisis waiting to happen. The dental work was sort of the first indication of that, but there's more to come.

Dental work? Looks like his unhealthy choices are finally catching up to him?

Oh yeah Flutter is loaded if they can just impromptu go to Disneyland.
