Meh, it was fine. Nothing great, nothing revolutionary. The title made me think this was going to be like a pilot, but it's not really, though it does end on a 'to be continued' which I'm not fond of unless you know you're going to make the sequel. Which he might crowd fund. The dude playing Drake doesn't scream "action hero" to me, which may be how he is in the book, not sure, but I would reckon one of the villains would have worked better.
If he does make more and puts them up on youtube, I'd watch them, but this wouldn't make me revive my Netflix account or anything.

I dunno if its fair to say, but ye Drinkers is kinda a hypocrite with him wanting to get a possible deal with a streaming service, yet he went to town on Stuckman for wanting to rub elbows with Hollywood studios.

They're both obviously grifter hacks but from what I know Stuckmann gave up on negative reviews entirely out of fear of burning bridges. Drinker will still shit on safe targets. So there's a bit of a difference there.

Well, kinda but not really. Both are dickless, just in different ways.
I don't know too much about that one. Drinker went in on Stuckman for changing his content by blunting his reviews to suck Hollywood's dick. Until Drinker does the same to get his shit on TV we can't honestly call him a hypocrite yet.

This doesn't seem too different from later Seagal movies. I'd probably enjoy it to a small degree if I had a few fruit ciders, a few tequila beers, and a brandy handy. Certain films are good for getting drunk, laughing your arse off, and falling asleep.

Already gave my thoughts on this, so I'll just point out it's funny that despite Drinker normally having a million hits on his videos, this one only has 245K after three weeks. The fucking trailer has over 600k. Possibly because his audience doesn't want to watch something 40 minutes long, but you'd think they'd at least give it a quick look to see what they did, maybe skip around a little. And the likes of Moviebob would watch it so they could feel smug and superior in their delusions that they did a better job.
Maybe the algorithm fucked him, or it's the time thing as I mentioned, but I expected this to do better numbers. Oh well.

I think the issue is just because you like the guy's reviews, doesn't mean you're going to watch every single thing he does. That goes for any Youtuber. You like their videos, doesn't mean you want to listen to a podcast they do or their livestreams. Anyway his short film got mentioned as a dishonorable mention for worst movies of the year with most of that section dedicated to just shitting on Critical Drinker. Then again it's not exactly a surprise he wouldn't like him when you see this review of Reagan done by InFrameOut.
