To each their own. Personally I'll never have someone's else name or fictional character tattooed on my body. Sounds cultish. Even if it would be a tribute to a deceased friend or retaliative.

The painful part is the most basic level of research shows how fake this all is.

The OP arnaud267 does not even actively post in the LEGO subreddit. The person just showed up and said "we" like they belong there. If you bother to dig through their post history, it's all political subreddits, including an 18-day-old post about how the UK should ban twitter. To me that sounds like this "ban twitter" campaign has been floating around in someone's head for a while now, and now they're pushing for it.

And if it's not an arnaud267 being an active political poster, it's other accounts that are brand new making similar threads calling for the ban, all while ban announcements consistently have lower approval (between 50-75% upvotes) than top posts are usually used to getting.

Would bet money it's the same jannies that are always responsible for all of reddit's political "movements" having another episode where they think they're "fighting the good fight" and instead they're just manipulating the votes and engaging in censorship themselves. Dead internet theory is alive and well, because I can only guess the admins and owners put up with all of this because it at least presents the illusion the website gets far more traffic than it does.
I was checking out some subreddits and more and more were trying and actively banning not only Twitter but Facebook, Instagram, and Threads. I went to one of my favorite sport's teams subreddit and someone was saying the subreddit should ban Twitter. People in the comments actively pushed back on it and the OP started to get pissed off, then one asked "If we ban Twitter, where do we get our information since the team still posts on Twitter?" The OP then went into full salesman mode and talks about Bluesky's rapid growth and how it will see even bigger growth in 2025. It honestly felt like I was in some kind of Twilight Zone episode. I checked the OP's post history and he didn't have many posts and none of them were ever in this subreddit before.

Even the NissanDrivers subreddit has jumped on the Xitter ban train:

I don't think anyone even posts Xitter links there to begin with, as it's mostly copy-pasted photos of clapped out Nissans and Infinitis from Facebook and other social media sites.

Is this a joke? I recently heard Altima Americans as a not so nice euphemism for ghetto blacks.

Nissan Altimas and Infiniti G35s/G37s, and Nissans in general, are notorious for their horrible drivers, since Nissan will finance a literal potato for their new cars. And the condition that they drive them in, i.e. body damage everywhere, running on spare and/or bald tires, having a usually fake paper tag/no tag and little to no insurance, going as fast as triple-digit speeds while blasting ghetto rap music at full volume and ignoring all the warning lights on their dash, is so common that the Big Altima Energy meme became a thing.

I don't wanna be the guy who links to FOX of all places, but no sane person can see the fuckers arrested in the video and the reasons they're still here and not just be filled with rage.... Like fucking look at the neighborhoods they're getting caught in too, those don't seem like run down hoods to me, there are probably plenty of poor retarded white people in danger just for existing near these fuckers. Edit, this shit's in Boston of all places lmfao.

Anyways, TTD, TND, cope and seethe liberals the illegal criminals you love are fuckin done.

Edit: Meant to put this in politics, but with the recent trend reddit has had with simping over illegals, I feel like it still might be reasonable for here.

The star citizen reddit banned x links which isn't surprising because they are a bunch of faggots and all the remotely right wing individuals stick to the games own forum.
Of course it's the usual veil of "oh it's a political shitstorm haha we don't want it here" pretending to not be partisan shit.

Naturally they will still use x posts directly from the mouth of CIG so the boycott is moot as that's all people are there for is devtweets and not bored ship screeenshot 6140.

The Lord of the Rings sub has refused to ban X links apparently

They will either CP spam to get the place locked up or coup the mod by the back door.
I've been picking, at random, a few of the top updooted accounts crying about the mods saying they won't ban Xitter links.

None of them seem to have posts on the sub prior to this. All of them are making dramatic comments about how "buh buh tolkien would not like this" and "I AM LEAVING THIS SUB RIGHT NOW". Astroturfed as fuck.

You know what a lot of them do have in common though? posts on drag, lgbt, faggotry adjacent subreddits. But maybe I should just stop being a noticing CHUD.

Sometimes i don't understand how Reddit deletes or shadow deletes posts because they're a bit disturbing even through said subreddit is precisely about such content.

>Post a crazy ass video in r/crazyfuckingvideos
>Post gets deleted
>Ask why it got deleted
>It's because said crazy ass video is outrageous (and you get a strike for it too)

Yeah this campaign is extremely artificial.

Really enjoying this. Anybody who was around for the massive Net Neutrality astroturf on Reddit can see right through this one. If said posts haven't been removed, you can Top All Time a niche subreddit and see it tens of thousands of upvotes higher than that niche's most monumental moments, likely sitting at best at a few thousand upvotes.

However, that campaign was rather harmless and only aggravated autists or superchuds. This time around, when it's mass banning of twitter links based on a misconstrued onstage faux pas? And moderate/normie users getting called outrageous names (ie. nazi, facist) when they question or express dissent?

Reddit community is putting bibs on nice and snug. Here comes the redpill, get ready to nooootice!

I remember this from when I was chronically on reddit at the time(still am kinda), but was a full liberal retard, i had no idea that was an astroturf I thought it was all genuine at the time. But I was also more retarded and on drugs, but i more so blame the brainwashing they did on teenagers for years.

Liverpool subreddit.
Highest upvoted thread of all time is a "we must ban twitter" post from a couple of days ago, even more then when they won the champions league 5 years ago.

It's actually fucking embarrassing what sheep redditors are, just agree with highest upvoted posts even if 90% are bots.
