Eagerly awaiting Plebbit and Co. getting angry at Ubisoft for censoring a proud sub-saharan faggot man. Is it like a year since the game was announced? Or longer? Seems like they would have had time to just remove Yasuke as a playable character and just have a japanese man and woman instead of George Floyd-san beating up peasants to hip hop

Skillup said the only time you're forced to use Yasuke is in certain main story missions, all the open world shit and side quests can be 100% completed as Nowa.
It was probably way too late to remove him entirely and minimizing his screentime was the best they could do.

Yasuke's gameplay looks to be a clunkier For Honor. He cannot even parkour properly, which is AC's bread and butter. Adding leveled enemies to AC breaks the flow of its simple, yet effective stealthy combat. Actually, that's just lazy game design in general. I see they're going back to a bloated, massive world with Japan as they did with Odyssey and Valhalla. At its best, it's just more Assassin's Creed with little innovation to the formula.
Also, there's something xenophobic about being a big, bulky Black figure that just overpowers his Japanese adversaries and blindly destroys feudal architecture in his path.

After beating the first one you can kill civvies with impunity and receive no punishment for it, it was also the most lenient as you only lost a single bar of health (The max was 20 IRRC) whereas 2 onward you got the anti fun no more than 3 even if you beat the game.

When Yasuke kills civilians, it displays, 'Yasuke did not kill civilians'. In previous Assassin's Creed games, the message 'Civilian casualties will result in desynchronization' was displayed. This new change seems unnecessary, as if they are not secure of what they are trying to convey in the narrative, lol.

I very strongly doubt Jade, Hexe, or any of the numerous spinoffs in pre production will ever see release.
The Shadows gameplay reveal livestream peaked at 3k and had dropped to 500 viewers after the first hour.

Anyone who thought that a Samurai in heavy armor should be a main character in an AC game should be fired. You would not do that with a knight, why do it with a Samurai? AC is not For Honor, that is where the conversation should have ended. Just have Yasuke operate as a ninja for the game ffs.
