Speaking of Stretch, I actually found out from one of that faggot DarkViperAU's videos that originally Stretch was going to be a police informant rather than a simple gang traitor.
Not sure how much that would have changed the story but it's an interesting tidbit I suppose.

Evidence being shit found in the files. Like alternate voice lines and such.

"Man, fuck Rockstar for removing the Liberty City mod, fucking up Online for a decade straight, abandoning RDO, canceling GTA V's single player DLC's and making shitty mobile ports of my childhood games!"
"GTA 6 will cost $200"
"Ooh, quite a steal! Rockstar hasn't let me down yet!!"

Do I have way too much faith in these people for thinking that they didn't have both opinions at the same time and these are different people saying this?

That could've been interesting. I doubt Franklin would keep Stretch close to know about his heists, unless Lamar was dumb enough to say something.

I'm skimming a lot here but that's pretty much what Stretch's whole deal boils down to.
The issue with V's writing is that it comes and goes so suddenly. The main antagonists are practically the FIB because of Micheal's shady past being covered up by a corrupt agent with a shittier boss. Again, Franklin's arc feels rushed with no satisfying conclusion. Trevor too, although learning the truth about Brad was SOME closure for him.

Yeah, people like that are going to tank this whole industry down with them.

Is the Liberty City mod saved somewhere? I would like to download it in case it gets removed from more places and it becomes unobtanium.

Started playing GTAV again for the first time since it came out on xbox 360, this time on PC with the graphics cranked all the way up.

I forgot how much of a great game it is. There's a first person mode now, on foot and in vehicles. I definitely don't remember that being on the xbox 360 version I had. It looks good but it's also just a ton of fun to play that way. The driving is difficult in first person but you get better at it and it's rewarding. I think this might be the first game where they truly nailed the "I'm a criminal who kills people and does crimes" simulator they were always going for since the earliest top down games (which were fun in their own way at the time, especially the second one.)

You've reached the bottom of the barrel of GTA community, normal people don't watch or even leave a comment on that guy's video. He's a well-known parasite in the community and even Ned Luke (Michael VA) called him out personally on his clickbaity video.
I used to watch MrBoss back in 2016 when I played GTA online almost religiously, but then I found SaintsFan. Does he still do shit? He didn't seem so clickbaity. I only paid attention for double money/XP events and Los Santos Customs updates though.
Introducing the DONKS! was a huge event up until it actually happened and I realized besides the Rat Truck they all looked fucking dumb but I'm not a mexican so bouncing cars doesn't really excite me.

I remember MrBossFTW making CoD content into Black Ops II/Ghosts of the same speculative format.

Try driveby and driving in first person. The FOV with the saloon and the gun is too zoomed in when you're trying to aim around. Thank goodness R* had the foresight to toggle camera views for certain actions. I still haven't learned how to throw projectiles in first person view; it always drops to my feet.

So I decided to put og SA,VC and 4 on my steam deck with fixes, mods and the original music. I own all three on steam, so should be easy. VC and SA, where no problem. 4 on the other hand is so annoying, I just grabbed a fitgirl repack. Stupid fucking always online launcher that they added since I last played, really fucks with the steam deck. Something about playing SA, on a handheld feels both futuristic and nostalgic.

I really need to give all 3 PS2 games a replay, but especially VC and SA! So many mems and feels.

If GTA 6 actually has a base price of $100, that may just collapse the gaming industry. Ask yourself this: even if GTA 6 is great, would it be worth that price five, ten years ago? Probably not. It's been ten years without a GTA entry.
