There was a point several years ago when I was inquiring into Roman Catholicism. I went to one of the big Newman centers and dropped by for a mass. The priest was giving a homily about how we need to give a ton of money to Africans or something, and there were fliers in the hall about accepting refugees.

I asked the front desk if there were any RCIA (Roman Catholic Initiation for Adults—basically catechism classes for people wanting to become Catholic) forms, and they had none. Apparently nobody had bothered to keep them stocked.

By the time I was called back, I was living elsewhere. Eventually, I was baptized Orthodox. Not for that reason, but I never forgot it.

This was such a stupid fucking arc. Part of me wanted the Presidential plane to be used and it either
1. Gets trashed by the Literal Criminals or
2. It gets used so much from all the deportations that he literally doesn't get to use it anymore and decides to accept them from military planes in order just to get his own damn plane back.

Again, if the migrants are actually getting mistreated badly then Trump and ICE should probably knock it off to avoid things like this but I doubt that's happening. Criminals being put in handcuffs, and using military planes is not bad mistreatment by any stretch. It also just makes sense logistically so I don't know why he got his panties in such a twist.

I also just have to add what an excellent victory for Trump. Literally did exactly what he wanted, played him like a fiddle, and now coffee and flowers won't increase in price. There is basically no way liberals can spin this as bad, but they can try.
