Mega Rad Gun Thread

So sometimes I browse r/milsurp and recently people have posted pictures of rifles they bought from Royal Tiger Imports..........I cannot understand why people continue to give money to Uli Wiegand after obviously having Ian McCollum in his pocket and the fiasco with the IO AK's and blatantly lying to Rob Ski. Retards (I mean it is reddit lol) are turning themselves into niggers by spending a lot of money for guns cleaned and lubricated with camel shit.
and by chance I came across this video.

I've bought a few parts kits from RTI and they've always been fucked up. They always take upwards of a month to ship and when they do they're missing parts, have the wrong furniture or other broken bits. They also throw in old I.O branded accessories for free

The M1 subreddit is also occasionally getting posts of people going "GEY GUYS I WAS AT THE GUN STORE AND BOUGHT THIS $1700 GARAND AND NOW I'M READING UP ABOUT TIGER IMPORTS HOW SCREWED AM I"

People too lazy or retarded to use the CMP shall perish

I recently traded in a Romanian M44 and talked my buddies down on a Springfield M1, walked out the door for $850. Obviously guys will call BS on that, but for me that's the perk of knowing guys with an FFL.

always ask to see consignment or old stock that hasn't moved in a while or stuff like that. dead inventory is dead weight is money on the books occupying space i can put actual moving product. i blew out the Gen 3 LEO Glock 22's and 23's i had for $300 out the door with 2 mags just to get rid of them since i was running out of space and new stuff from Glock and Springfield were becoming hot items (P365 just got released) and i needed room for the new SIG stuff too. this can work for accessories like bushmaster-branded boresnake cleaning kits and some other stuff.

Tisas 1911
Allegedly their metal-framed handguns are of passable quality and can't be compared to the Canik that breaks down all the time. Springfield has been using Tisas receiver forgings for their own pistols.
Kimbers are supposed to be good
Supposed to be, but are not. They used to be boutique despite MIM parts and rusting on display but seemingly lowered production costs to get more product on shelves. I could only accept buying one in person and even then I'd replace the slide and half of the guts if only because I have shit lying around already. I'd sooner get an RIA or Springfield at that point.

Because MUH Gun Jesus - redditards

IO literally makes AK shaped grenades.

RTI imports guns that might fire and are in essentially one piece.

Got the 92gts about a month back. Have to say I am very happy with it after about 500 rounds through it. I know people cry about having the decocker on the frame but I find it fits my hand better. Other then that it's just a good Ole 92. Been using it as my carry and it fits well and doesn't crush my balls. Have parts coming in tomorrow but it's just the standard 92 changes of a new trigger, trigger bar, and I'm going for a #12 hammer spring. Eventually gonna swap the barrel out at some point for a threaded inox. Gotta have the classy samurai edge even if the decocker is in the wrong spot.

I've only got one SIG, a P226 TacOps. It's been a good gun, but it's also about ten or twelve years old now and was made when SIG still gave a shit. They used to be right up there with HK in quality, but ever since they opened their US branch and started getting US military and government contracts they seem to have just given up.

What are the more reputable semi-auto shotguns on the market? I'm looking at both new and second hand, mostly in the big brands (I've been warned about cheap turkish shotguns). Are inertia systems really worth the easier clean-up?

Generally can't go wrong with the Italians. Beretta and Benelli. Gas guns do require cleaning more often, but are often designed for easier disassembly so the cleaning goes faster. Found it not to be a huge factor for me, I got an older Beretta A303 and I'm happy with it.
