Many pages behind but I was thinking about this. I know two farmers with decent size operations. These are by no means mega farms, they’re both family owned and operated but large enough that they employ quite a few people. Not once have I seen anything that would even be suspected as illegal immigrants working. They employ all local labor even during planting and harvesting.
