Watch as EA wont learn jack and shit with this. And because they hate us, they wont bury Bioware for this, despite the fact they necked gaming studios in the past far much much less.
"THINK OF THE JOBS, T.H.T"
Look, I will be nice and recognize that there would be some good folks that would be losing their jobs indeed but I'd argue that the good ones will be able to find new jobs while the DEI hires surely wont or at least shouldnt.
The industry is bloated with worthless employees that bring nothing to the table so downsizing will literally cut the fat(ties) out and leave only the ones actually contributing.
The only reason I can buy EA hasnt killed Bioware is because of M.E 5 but I doubt that everything isnt hinging on the success of that game.
"Why you want these great studios to shut down, you monster?"
Simple, because they arent those studios anymore. They are names, just that, what made them great were their talented devs and without those, it is simply a name. If the gaming industry is relaying on the existence of mere brands based simply on the past glories associated with them then that speaks more about the dire state of the whole thing than us.
Took less than a year for SSKTJL to have the price of a hamburger so I wouldnt say it will take long.
The devil horns gave it away, didnt it?
They also attempted to bring back Dead Space only for history to repeat itself with them giving an unrealistic sale numbers expectation and the controversies (there werent many but you all know the few Im refering to) and the fact Dead Space hasnt been relevant argurably since DS 2 led to the remake being considered a failure in sales (despite the fact that, like before, the game still sold very good all things considered) and EA necked the franchise again.
Depending on how you see it, maybe it was for the best.

I remember having a conversation with a friend of mine about the game even before all the weird tranny stuff came out about the game and we both came to the conclusion that if we were ever going to play it, it would be years later during some summer sale when it was down to five bucks.
Now I'm wondering how long it'll take for it to actually hit five dollars and I'm wondering if it would be worth it even then. I'd have to install the bitch and that clicking the mouse several times might be too much effort even to make fun of it.

Its only just clicked.
Tash is literally the name of Satan in C.S. Lewis' Chronicles of Narnia.
They literally named their non-binary Qunari trans symbol Lucifer. I refuse to believe this was unintentional. Bioware working on multiple levels, not the least that Lucifer, the great betrayer is a dude. Anyone who kills Tash in this game is unironically doing a good thing that will earn treasure in heaven.

Been saying this but EA is in danger of becoming the next Ubisoft if they don't tard wrangle their devs. I mean let's look at their franchises.
Dragon Age - Dead
Mass Effect - Dead
Anthem - lol
Titanfall - Dead
Battlefield - Zombie franchise (Likely dead if/when the next entry fails)
Jedi games - Ending with the third one
Capeshit games - These haven't exactly been doing great lately
Apex, Sims and mainly sports slop are really the only things they have left, and I guess even that has now shown some weakness with the apparent underperformance of FC25.
