While I do agree they consume a lot of frozen slop, I wouldn't underestimate how much they Doordash. Phil has been shown countless times to be both incredibly wasteful, and a creature of impulse. I imagine they essentially Doordash whenever the mood strikes, they're too lazy to even go through the effort of microwaving something. Because he's a creature of habit, I think Phil just does the same load of shopping, no matter what they actually have on hand/will realistically use, and if there's no space, Phil just chucks whatever he needs to make room.

Seeing the fridge and freezer was just depressing and paints a lot about his life. I think anyone with a significant other knows that food and cooking are not only enjoyable and educational experiences, but they also give you strength and unity. It's a sign that there is a thought of what you feed you and your partner but also your relationship. Cooking says a lot about your character because it is one of the things a person needs to do to survive.

The fridge looks weirdly well stocked for 2 people that never entertain guests and order out half the week. I wouldn't be surprised if he got an order of mature adult groceries delivered right before the picture, but I also wouldnt be shocked if he ordered that much food every week and trashed most of it in favor of door dash.
This is something I don't get. The general consensus is that Phil and Kat can't stand each other or at the very least are roommates who'd rather avoid doing stuff together. Plus Phil has a chronic need to rant and bitch about things, which I assume is very tiring to listen to. He is also almost exclusively sitting inside of his home. So......why is Kat not spending time outside? Even just walking around would do her a ton of good, she should know that. Long walks between doing chores/walking part-time a few days a week could realistically reduce her weight, make her more alert and even help with her social isolation. Was she also a couch potato before deciding to live with Phil?
