Heartwarming, the worst fucking people we know are absolutely suffering. :story:

The amount of fucking leaks and stupid shit that is actual retard induced error and not just the usual cover ups and money laundering in the government makes a lot more sense.
Now that I know "TransQueenSusie" and "DarthVaper59" who post about their fucking goon seshs publicly ̶a̶r̶e̶ were the gaggle of fuckups in charge of moving documents around.

My previous employer (private manufacturing with old-school people) instructed us on the proper use of a sick day.
"If you are physically able to use your phone to call in a sick day, you are able to come to work".
I think that’s not great either. I’ve probably called in sick maybe three times in five years, and I could call someone sure but I was in bed with a high fever and feeling spaced out from it.
if I feel gross but able to sit and deal with stuff I’ll work from home. But it doesn’t do anyone any good to be sat in an office spreading things that will take half the office out. I also find if I have a fever I’m useless mentally, and I dont like making dumb mistakes at work. A job that’s physically responsible for machinery or safety you don’t want someone with a baked brain on deck.
There is a point where just taking two days to lie in bed and get over it is better long term than struggling in, being useless , making stupid mistakes because you can’t think straight and infecting half the office. I actually think this is one decent thing to come out of Covid - the idea that you shouldn’t be in work if you’re hacking germs all over everyone. You see it at schools and nursery too - kids get sent in when they should be home and end up infecting the entire class. Sucks. Going about with a cold or the sniffles is no big deal but vomiting or flu or fevers, stay home
And everyone knows who is taking the piss, but I guess if you’ve got an entire department taking the piss , that window shifts a bit. I’ve worked with people like like too and it is annoying. That’s poor management though, everyone knows who is doing the work and yeah it is 80:20 e ett where I’ve worked
the science," etc.
Absolutely. It’s shifting the idea of the thing into a physical structure. So democracy is not longer a process with checks and balances but ‘the opinions of the good guy’ which is of course their side. And for science it’s been the same. It’s no longer a process of questioning, challenge, evidence gathering, synthesis, theory, repeat. It’s now ‘what the people in charge say it is’ I.e. dogma.
It’s not just an authoritarian boot, but it seems to me like it’s an ossification, a degeneration of great leadership and of society in general. It’s almost like a cargo cult, and I see it as a symptom of our societal decline. We don’t have any more Jeffersons or newtons, so we just go through the motions and hope the results fall out the sky like some retarded tribe building runways out of straw and hoping for Cargo.
The more you can clean house and reinvigorate, the better chance we have of surviving a bit longer as a functional empire

Exactly, and it's not like we were being told to submit to stagnation and authoritarianism under a genuinely competent system of enlightened geniuses (which, for the record, would also be bad, but at least it would be cool and sci-fi).

No, the institutions that they decided were worth freezing in amber for all eternity, the supposed pinnacles of all human achievement that must be preserved at all costs? They were the ones churning out such hits as "nobody knows what a woman is" and "this new coronavirus clearly did not leak from the lab down the street that makes new coronoviruses, if you suggest it did we will ruin your career" and "we must incorporate indigenous ways of knowing and reject the white supremacy inherent in empiricism."

Fuck them. Burn it to the ground and salt the earth.

Also - there are many jobs that you really can't take a sick day unless your condition is dire.
>we are IMPORTANT and VALUABLE and IRRIPLACEABLE and the entire country would CRUMBLE TO THE GROUND WITHOUT US PRESENT and hold on i'm gonna leave my SUPER IMPORTANT WORK THAT'S HOLDING UP THE ENTIRITY OF SOCIETY because i feel upset

I've thought about this in the past, but more in context with zoomers who seem to fit real world items into categories patterned after memes. Like, for a good while all I would hear was how someone was 'Chad', or think about how 'based' and 'red-pilled' entered the popular lexicon -- both of these originate from memes. I'm sure Jean Baudrillard would have plenty to say about this were he still alive; we're moving to like third order simulacra at this point.
buddy you hit it on the nose
it's like the flanderization of real life

I wonder how the feds on KF are faring with the news that the DEI diversity hires are being sent to the shredder.

Bureaucratic feds are absolutely insufferable. Especially when it's a DEI hire. You don't know the true meaning of torture that is possible until you've suffered through the 15th fat she-boon negress this week who can't be bothered to put down the fork, or put in the 1% of effort that it takes to get something as simple as a financial disclosure statement, or a procedural schedule so I can plan things accordingly. These low-iq nogs are just smart enough to know that with their status as entrenched section 8-Americans strong  Black wahmen, they're practically untouchable and take joy in doing as little work as humanly possible.

according to a contact of mine, this is only going to make productivity go down. According to them, since work from home was established productivity has been up by quad. This could be fudged numbers so that our brave boys in rainbow socks can play Marvel Rivals while on the clock, but if actually true it's gonna be kind of funny to see the aftermath. Sorry, fedbro.
There are legitimate reasons to have some actual WFH jobs, but the long covid(heh...) excuse to have extended WFH jobs for practically anyone who asks for it is fucking retarded. First of all, I'm of the opinion that on top of the bloated bureaucracy we already have, it's become way too centralized in DC. There's no reason that every single fed institution needs to be in one area. Why not have the USDA based out of Montana or Iowa? Or have the Bureau of Land Management in one of the Dakotas? Or the ATF and TSA banished to the shadow realm, along with all of their employees? It's already known that DC is a captured area with a ~95% Democrat supermajority. The people there are both too numerous and too out of touch with the people these institutions are supposed to serve.

I feel like Trump doesn’t’t have an ego about this. He nearly got his head blown off and has basically done everything he’s ever wanted to do besides buy an NFL team (still time, can’t hire Don Shula though)
Not with that attitude, he won't! 😏

AOC vs Kamala primary in 2028 incoming
For the love of god and everything holy, I pray that this happens. It would guarantee a Vance '28-'36 term.

Feds shouldn't have reddit profiles to begin with. Not because of them being literal glowniggers on the internet (ok, well, it IS because they are literal glowniggers on the internet) but also from a OPSEC point. I wonder how nothing has turboleaked on there given that redditors and "good opsec" are not two words that go together well
Maybe you don't pay attention or are just blissfully unaware, but there's a massive leak of personal information from some agency or financial institution that seems to be revealed every other week or so. And those are just the ones that we know and are told about. It's to the point that these leaks just might be more helpful than hurtful anymore. Your name and info might stand out on a leak of a couple hundred thousand people, but if half the country or more is on a hundred different leaked lists, it all blends together into obscurity.

Someone wrote a poem. (Archive)
Text:
I Wrote This Poem Because We Can Bring Liberty Come Back

I wrote this poem because I went from defeated to mad as hell. Liberty is still alive. We must fight!

Noble Lady Liberty, pray, where have you gone?
We weep, we sigh, and we most bitterly moan.
Our fruit that was red and ripe for the picking
Now dry and dead; it seems no longer living.

Great Lady Liberty, two hundred forty-eight years
How far have we fallen from the hate and fears?
We have given ourselves to princes and thieves;
We long for your freedoms and miss your reprieves.

Regal Lady Liberty, make haste, use all speed;
Deliver us from evil, vile words, and cruel deed.
Do not desert us to such fickle and errant winds;
Profit’s motive hides in the words of deceitful men.

Promises made, yet none of them are kept;
Oligarchs and patriarchs leave us all bereft.
Shall salty and bitter tears we now consume
While freedom was birthed from your womb?

Majestic Lady Liberty, please come to us now,
That we may return the crown to your brow—
The crown that has been sold and laid low;
We shall, nay, must restore its beautiful glow.

Kind Lady Liberty, the downtrodden and old,
Seek and search for you among ruins of gold,
While leaders and politicians speak so ribald.
Grace us, sweet lady, and return us to the fold.

How the F are you supposed to call in sick then? Kind of a weird boss who prefers people to just not show up.

“Sorry! Had to go to the hospital! Was too sick to pick up the phone!”

I’ve had one sick day this year and maybe one the year before. More because I’m not sick than anything.

As an employee I’d be pretty fucking pissed off if my boss had a “come to work even if you’re sick!” Policy. Fuck getting the flu or Covid because management are retards and don’t mind the workplace to act as a flu incubator.

So we’re paying these faggots for sitting and writing poetry at work. Splendid!

I've seen similar problems like the ones those DOGE zoomers seem to be complaining about, and can confirm they are 100% in the right. There's too many instances both in administrations and businesses where genx and boomer seniors refuse to simplify and cut dead weight because they're too used to shit just being left to 'run' the way it was, even if it wasted resources and didn't get anything done. I know that whenever issues like that are brought up, the seniors and their defenders will start speaking in vagaries and claim there totally is a deeper reason why a certain staff structure is the way it is but it's just too complex or too advanced for "you" to understand. And while there may be cases why certain processes are set up the way they are for a reason, it is NOT one of those cases at least 80% of the time, if not 95%.

By now, I've identified a good way to discern whether there is an actual reason that a structure or a process is set up with this or that potentially unnecessary extra step. You confront the person that's at the root of keeping things the way they are. Even when it seems like entire groups are unanimous about it at first, it usually comes down to one or two people putting their foot down and everyone else is just going along with it for solidarity/closing ranks reasons. Then you tell them that if they want to keep it the way it is, they need to find a way to explain, very concretely, in a clear-cut, black-and-white way why an extra step or extra position needs to be kept as something separate from another one. The best way to prove you've really understood something, is to explain it to someone else in a way that they understand. If you can't do that, you probably don't have as much of a grasp of the subject as you thought. If the reason isn't substantial enough for the senior to understand and explain, then the thing they're defending is not substantial enough to keep.

The things they so ardently defend are not crucial supports, but rather a band-aid that needs ripping off.

OHNOES! He RAISED his voice at them?! Outrageous!!!

All these government fags wouldn’t last more than a few weeks in any actual job lol

That”secret police” one really is just brain-broken tier of posting.

The FBI releasing secret agents abroad? Tracking down Russian influence operations in Africa?!

Sure thing buddy!

(Actually if anything it speaks to the FBI needing to be reined in. It’s supposed to be a DOMESTIC agency!)
