Sneeding about it here because I won't get the opportunity anywhere else, but for me the problem with Not Like Us (and all of Kendrick's Drake diss tracks really) is that while the beat is good, and I can respect his hatred of Drake, there's just no intensity behind it. When I listened to people talking about the song, I heard all this shit about how you "can feel the hate" and how he's "rapping like he's trying to free the slaves" and that doesn't come across at all when it sounds like he's only talking out of half his mouth. It sounds so non-committal, and a big part of that is that the basically whole song sounds like he's putting on a voice, which might be him mocking the Toronto nigger accent, or something, but it sounds retarded and makes the whole thing worse to listen to when he's doing it.
