A conspiracy I've seen gaining steam is that Mahomes got concussed a couple minutes into the Super Bowl and they let him play it out. It didn't show on the TV copy, but did on replay. I first saw it Sunday night in a sped up gif where it looked worse than it did at real speed. Sorry for the shit video, it was the first one I found.

We've all seen QBs get pulled for hits like that. Some come back in, others don't. Nobody remarked on the hit or him getting evaluated. "This was just an excuse to explain his poor performance, cope harder." was my first thought. I didn't think of it again until I saw a thread that highlighted how he wears his helmet. He wears it really high on top of his hair. It's been remarked on for years.

There are league regs about how to wear a helmet. AJ Hawk said the league threatened to fine him because he liked to wear it loose. He got a letter that partway through a season which explained his helmet has come off in game the same number of times as everyone else in the league combined.

I can't find it now, but there was a micced up clip where Reid is obviously questioning his performance and he says something to the effect of "I'm seeing it, I'm just not pulling the trigger." If you watch film breakdowns there various times he had guys open and didn't see it, did see it and chose not to make a throw he normally would have, or didn't see something like DeJean on the pick 6. The D line got great pressure on him, but it's not like there was a 100% pressure rate on his dropbacks.

He was certainly frazzled more than his shitty haircut by the defense's scheme and execution, but was it something more? Would they really pull the face of the League in the Super Bowl they were supposed to make history in?

Sneeding about it here because I won't get the opportunity anywhere else, but for me the problem with Not Like Us (and all of Kendrick's Drake diss tracks really) is that while the beat is good, and I can respect his hatred of Drake, there's just no intensity behind it. When I listened to people talking about the song, I heard all this shit about how you "can feel the hate" and how he's "rapping like he's trying to free the slaves" and that doesn't come across at all when it sounds like he's only talking out of half his mouth. It sounds so non-committal, and a big part of that is that the basically whole song sounds like he's putting on a voice, which might be him mocking the Toronto nigger accent, or something, but it sounds retarded and makes the whole thing worse to listen to when he's doing it.

It would be hilariously ironic if the swarmy bastard who gets all the soft calls got concussed in the opening of the Superbowl and then goes all Brett Favre. (The majority of his playoff losses were because he made some brain damaged throw into triple coverage.) I don't know if there's enough evidence to for this, but it's worth wondering!

I’m not even an Eagles fan and that’s retarded - other teams can also do the Brotherly Shove, it’s just that no other team can do it as well as the Eagles so they don’t try. By that same logic, might as well ban 60 yard receiving TD’s because not every QB can throw moon balls.

The only real argument against it with any logic behind it I've heard is that the offense can push players whereas the defense cannot. Except that the Brotherly Shove is far from the only time offensive players are pushing each other. The Eagles o line hate doing it too. It's fucking awful. They just like getting first downs more than they hate doing it. Absolute dawgs.

If they want to make an offensive player pushing another offensive player a penalty go right ahead. I'd hate to see it go, but that rule change would cause max fucking chaos. The league would have already banned it if they were going to. Everyone else just needs to put together gigantic talented o lines who buy in are willing to do it.

Every talking point to hear about from pundits is wrong too. It wasn't all Jason Kelsey. Your QB doesn't need to squat 600lbs to do it. They don't know what they're talking about, shocker. This argument happened a couple years back in the NHL when the Tampa Bay Lightning was accused of circumventing the cap. They brought back one of their best players from Injured Reserve right before the playoffs started. They then won the Stanley Cup.

Their response was "If it's so easy, why doesn't every other team do it?"
