Weighed in at 147.1 this past Thursday! I did the New Year's meme weight loss journey thing- I started January 1st at 159 pounds 0_0 Everything this past month has sort of flown off since I altogether stopped eating like shit, started counting calories and going on daily walks. The last time I was in the 140s was 2021! Goal is to get to 136 in time for graduation this May. Am woman btw so that's why weights are lower

I will not be fat in those photos

I’m sick of being sick and fat. It’s time. Half of the sick is either because of, or made worse by, the fat, and I need to remember that every time I look at a candy bar or ice cream or whatever garbage I’m craving.

“I’m so tired, I had such a rough day, I deserve it,” I tell myself.

And I do deserve it, as in, I deserve being fat for eating so much fuckin chocolate.

I got down to 203 last year, from my highest at like 240 a few years ago but I’ve gone back to nearly 220 since fall and I feel every extra pound. Maybe posting updates here will help, maybe I’ll forget and never post again, I dunno. Either way it feels important to say it. I know how to cook, I know how to cook healthy foods. I just don’t know how to put down the fork, apparently.

259>258. Another person commented on me losing weight at work, this time a woman so were finally on the right track.

When I was flipping burgers I was eating ~3000 calories a day and still lost sixty pounds. And that included getting a milkshake every day. My current diet gets no where near that much, usually topping out at ~2200 with no calories from soda or ice cream or anything of the like. I do, however eat a lot of hotdogs, or large pizza over the course of three days. I can and do cook, but it’s irregular, and usually ends up being something like eggs and bacon or pork chops and potatoes. My job just does not move me around like I want it to, so I have to compensate.
How much you weigh is currently a factor. Much easier to lose weight when youre 100+ pounds overweight rather than just 30-40 pounds overweight.

My BMI is finally healthy (23.5), but I need to cut fifteen or more pounds before I'm at my ideal weight. Donated all of my old clothes, went from an xl to a medium. Faggot boss complimented me on my looks, not sure how I feel about that.

Dropped 30 pounds on Ozempic pretty easily, but have put ~5 back on and kinda hovering for a long while. Clearly need to make a change (my diet is still shit, and I don't exercise) but at 8 degrees F out (that's -13.3 in cuck units) and 25mph winds I'm not feeling it as far as going outside goes.

I’m starting my yearly attempt to get my weight down. Currently, I am 227 lbs and want to hit 200 by the last full week of April
I hadn’t realized I forgot to do an update last week. I’m down to 223 lbs, I’m back at about a third of my prior running ability (it’s all an issue of breaking mental barriers). My other exercises have progressed as well: I’m at about double the reps I started, though this may be damning by faint praise.

I want to really start working on my flexibility after this week.

So I fucked up and gained back five pounds. I’m still around 14 pounds lighter than before so that’s something, I guess. Keto does work for me but it’s so unbelievably restrictive and next to impossible to eat out. I might just stick to low calorie and high protein this time.

Post your favorite low-cal recipes. I’m so sick of chicken breast, steak strips, eggs, salad, roast veggies, and protein shakes.
I try to make my meals look organized and as colorful as possible with 3-4 different vegetables, that way it is interesting to eat and I am already beginning to feel full before my meal is over.

I really enjoy potatoes, a medium potato is only 174 calories and cut into wedges/cubes and baked in airfryer with spices and a little oil is something I do a lot, sweet potatoes too. Sushi bowls with homemade teriyaki or hoisin sauce and brown rice is a personal favorite of mine with shrimp, salmon or chicken.

I only eat 2 meals a day, with 7 servings of fruit and vegetables. They are large enough that I can look forward to them so I'm not tempted to snack and I can feel them fueling my workouts. If I want something extra I have a selection of herbal teas.
Chocolate orange oatmeal is a current favorite of mine, it's like having a big bowl of dessert. (I aim for each of my meals to be around the 600-650 calorie mark so adjust if you prefer smaller meals.)

1/2 cup jumbo rolled oats
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/2 cup orange juice, reserve some orange pieces for on top
orange zest
1/2 tbsp chia seeds
1/2 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tsp ceylon cinnamon
1 tsp honey (cheaper than maple syrup)
dash of vanilla extract

Cook on low heat for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally and then put into a bowl. Break up some dark chocolate squares into chunks, push them into the oatmeal so they can melt. Top with 1-2 tbsp of nut butter, orange segments and frozen blueberries.

This was more labor intensive but one day I tried a variation of this oatmeal and made banana-oat pancakes with chocolate orange sauce and some maple nut frozen yogurt, it was nice for a change. - This is for 1 serving of pancakes but I had extra frozen yogurt.

For the frozen yogurt
1 cup greek yogurt
2 tbsp of maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup pecans which I had toasted on the stove with cinnamon and 1 tsp of maple syrup and roughly chopped,

Stir it after 2 hours in the freezer and then for another 2 hours, I froze mine overnight and had to leave it out for almost an hour to soften. *If you know any better frozen yogurt recipes please lmk.

For the pancake batter:
In a blender, grind up 1/2 cup of oats to make a flour and then add:
1 egg
1 ripe banana
1 tsp cinnamon

Allow to sit for 10 minutes before frying in batches with a little butter.

For the chocolate sauce:
Juice of 1 orange (minus 2 slices for garnish) and zest
1 tsp of butter
1 tsp maple syurp

Add to a small pan and cook on low. Break up some dark chocolate (~1oz) and place in a bowl to melt over the pan for the sauce. Once the juice has thickened to a syrup, add to the melted chocolate and stir to combine.

According to a ton of people I talked to on myfitnesspal forums the big mac has perfect macros. What gets people is the fries and a soda.
This kind of copium is dumb and gay.

Just eat real food.

I might just stick to low calorie and high protein this time.
Paleo is more forgiving and you're already used to not eating bread. You'll start shitting solid again, which I hear is an upgrade from spontaneous grease trap shits.

started tirzepatide last week at 0.25 ml. I lost 0.8 ell bees in a week and most of my appetite. No more eating 6 oz of tart cherry, nut, and choco trail mix a day. I make my husband do my weigh ins and don't want him to tell me the number until I reach a specific weight. Having the A1c come back shitty is a great motivator.

I suppose I'll post since I decided to take weightloss seriously again. Previously lost 52 lbs just tracking calories a few years ago, I was 14 lbs away from my high school weight (was on the higher end of chubby), then decided I was bored of tracking and gained almost all of it back.

Been tracking off and on the past few weeks and decided to take it more seriously like 2-3 weeks ago, been coming in at or 100 calories below my calorie limit except maybe a couple of days. I haven't seen any real progress yet.

My weakness is meal prepping, mainly just getting off my lazy ass to cook the food and put it in containers to assemble after work. Those soups at Walmart are pretty good and filling, they used to have a vegetable soup that was like 200 calories for the container and so good but I guess nobody wanted to buy them because they got rid of them. Meal prep is cheaper though.

On the weeks I've done meal prep, I just do it all on a day off. It doesn't take up the whole day, and I'll be shitposting whilst letting the food cook. Makes it a lot easier than trying to cook after a 10 hr day.

Spend Sunday evening cooking a meal you can get 5-7 servings from.

I literally just need to cook one or two things, it's a combination of laziness and forgetfulness. I work afternoons/nights, so I just need dinner meal prepped, I cook my breakfast every work day pretty much. I even know what I'm gonna make, it's just getting off my ass and cooking my grain of choice.
