I just watched the Le Loyan and Samantha Rupnow videos, I am intrigued by the connections to 764, what are your guys' opinions on this group?

Opinions? I would personally kill every single one of them if I could. Now from what I've looked into neither Rupnow nor Henderson were members of 764, altough people whom they were close to participated in and were part of said spheres

Stalker got popular on /v/ before youtube streaming took off. Very early Twitch era where most people lacked capture cards or internet good enough to stream. Same era Minecraft made it big for the same reasons. Youtubers were late to the party and a lot of their content came from green text stories.

I wouldnt disagree, they're more or less an evolution of the shitty top 10 craze that plagued early 2010s YT, adapted to the algorithm's dogma of high watchtime and inane censoring

Top 10 videos were good for the 10 minute ad threshhold. Now youtube recommends long form videos more so an ice berg is a 45 minute video to get recommended.

In slight defense, what he dealt with was unnecessary, yes. But then again, I think it's for the best if it was cancelled. Remember that people really only gassed this dude up because he was 15 at the time when he made it and created it on his phone. That's it. They've constantly gaslit that the series was amazing, a true tale of horror or something, when it's just your basic, bare bones analog horror video that's been done a quadrillion times. This is what happens when you just let anyone, regardless of quality, get up there. People will just replicate that because they know how easy it is to get big in the Analog Horror scene by effectively doing the bare minimum.

He's just a kid, though. I wish him the best and I'd rather he just stay away from communities generally. It's clearly too much for him and peeps like him don't really need all that pressure instilled to them. He still got his supporters and they're willing to mooch up anything he makes or advertises so he's still getting his earnings.

But seriously. This community's in dire need of quality control.

I cannot take anything Orbit says seriously anymore. The moment he replaced his avatar with that stupid faggy fursona, I swear it feels like he intentionally went out of his way to make his voice sound like an amalgamation of every nerd stereotype combined.
