With troons and poons, I think they're trapped in egotistical thinking. Not explicitly in the sense of arrogance or unwarranted self-importance, but in the sense they can't think about anything without relating to themselves. Nothing they experience is ever separate from their self image. I think it's why self-insertion is very common with them, not to mention why they see things as innocuous as gendered language or pronouns as violence. Troons seething at attractive women is this same train of thought too. They're looking at someone unrelated to their lives and thinking about that person only in relation to themselves. If you are able to defend a position on what is true or perhaps ethically and morally “correct” about the position rather than ignoring or denying what is inconveniently wrong, then you have a more compelling case.

A woman who has given a man a child has bled for him, risked her life for him, and accepted the possibility of lifelong health complications for him. That skewed my perception of this for a long time.

Similar early UK tranny propaganda included real woman Julie Hesmondhalgh playing transgender character Hayley Cropper in Coronation Street. This storyline started in the late 90's and featured her being initially rejected by her boyfriend and co-workers when they found out, but then eventually accepted.

Another one in the early 00's was in prison drama Bad Girls. They selected a former model and real female to play Arun Parmar, a trans girl character. The vulnerable, delicate twans is bullied and beaten after being discovered, before eventually being accepted.

So long before gender bullshit was common, the public were being conditioned to think that transwomen were just like real women, that they were vulnerable and people were mean to them for no reason, and the right thing to do is to be kind to them.
