If this person was a fed employee, they aren't smart enough to be a civil servant. Working with doge teams is not the same exact thing legally as doge signing the dismissal paperwork. Welcome to real facts.

Sorry about that; my wife got off her leash while I was sleeping.
As much of a cuck as this Fedditor absolutely is, they do raise a (unintentionally) salient point about DOGE effectively diverting responsibility for the mass firings by more or less forcing agency heads to sign the dismissal paperwork for them. And no "working with DOGE" isn't really true when the agency heads job is being held over their own heads if they don't comply. If this person was a fed employee, they aren't smart enough to be a civil servant. Because its not their responsibility. Even in the EO, dismissal selection and execution is solely on OPM. The EO only directs agencies to work with DOGE on hiring, not firing. As much of a cuck as this Fedditor absolutely is, they do raise a (unintentionally) salient point about DOGE effectively diverting responsibility for the mass firings by more or less forcing agency heads to sign the dismissal paperwork for them. I suppose this is probably the only way to do it though and I don't really care that much if some upper level bureaucrat shithead is being forced into signing the paper work. I just would at least like to see DOGE signing the damn papers if their the major reason they are giving them the boot in the first place. It does come off kind of scummy that they aren't.

"This is why I don't call you as much anymore" lmfao. Props to the mom for offering to support her son and giving him solid advice. He can cry and be the victim but the world keeps turning. I'm sure many of these crybaby Feds have the same situation, a parent or spouse willing to support them while they find a new job, but they WANT to be the victim. These people were fine being Federal employees last time Trump was in office supposedly killing democracy.
The sad thing is one day his mom will die and he's wasting time being mad over politics.
More delusion in the comments:

Did you get this place confused with /r/FedNews? No one gives a shit that people employed at a jobs program are going to actually have to find a real job for four years. Relax, the democrats will inevitably win again and rebloat the government. You can go back to "teleworking" while gooning at your sinecure. It's the seventy percent disabled vet (1/3 of the civilian work force is Vets) that can't hold down a normal job. It's the blue collar national parks worker who just genuinely did this because they love America and its nature.
Every federal job lost slightly slows inflation as the government no longer has to tax by force or print money to pay them. Federal jobs do not create wealth. Are you insane?Unrelated, DOGE has now discharged tens of thousands, if not into six digits, of Americans from their jobs. I've NEVER seen someone tank their job numbers like this.

as only a fed would be hysterical at the first minor reshuffling they've had in three decades.
Yep. Damn you Fox News, telling people to hate the pure and noble fedboys.TrumpShatHimself said:Nobody really thought about us until they were told how to think about us
They hate us cuz they ain' us.Adventurous_Cap2751 said:I almost never comment and lurk most subs but I think it’s important that people realize that there is more to it than that. You’re underestimating how jealous people are of your benefits. I’m talking hideously green with envy. All you have to do is browse the layoff sub to see how many of them are gleeful at fed employees finally experiencing the same anxieties and instabilities that they’ve been dealing with. “Why should they have jobs when we don’t?” It’s honestly embarrassing and scary to see how many maladjusted people there are in society who wish ill on others because they don’t have better for themselves.
In what other organization would they need to try to trick you with a fake deferred resignation program to get rid of you? In the private sector, the new regime would just walk everyone out on day 1. It may not feel like it right now but your job protections are stronger than most and they resent it. In more stable times, they denigrated government employees as lazy and dumb workers who are poor, because they’d never admit to being envious of those “inferior low earners”. That would require conceding that your pension is a better deal than their unvested RSUs. But now that your government sponsored lynching is being cheered on by half the country, they’ve gone full mask off about wanting company in their misery, rather than seeing the job protections of the federal employer as a model they should strive for.
Yes, some are deeply propagandized. But the reality is many hate you because they wish they were you.
Oh no. Few tax collectors. How will I ever survive?epluribusunum2025 said:People are really fucking stupid right now. When they need us again, we won't be here. Then what are they going to do? If they honestly think the states will be able to handle everything, then they need to take a middle school history class.
How they just made cuts to the FAA in the wake of aviation disasters is beyond me. Or if another natural disaster hits and FEMA won't be able to respond. And in the middle of tax season they're about to cut thousands from the IRS. The most moronic shit ever.
You peasants deserve punishment and pain for defying your benevolent overlords.Zealousideal_Most_22 said:I feel like that’s exactly the kind of pain the average American needs to feel, sad to say, because all those things will have catastrophic or at the very least super inconvenient consequences. Two and two will finally come together for some of them. The ones who are all “haha yeah down with gobermint1!1” because it’s the in thing to say rn anyway.
Fedboys need to work for mexican wages? Sounds like a fair deal.Tony619ff said:Trump dehumanized Mexicans and now doing the same to federal workers

The shit I have done for strangers… the sleepless nights, the thoughts I’ve put into each and every action… a cancer? That stung.
U mad....u mad....wait why are you cheering when I lose my job? Noooooooooo.........Projecting4theBack said:As an ex-Washington Post subscriber, the comments have been heavily anti-fed for decades. They think we are lazy and only took the jobs because they think we wouldn’t survive in the private sector. It would be laughable if it wasn’t sad. Telework only me it worse. There was definitely a jealousy aspect to it.
Yep. And since few if any of you have given a shit about how you appear to your fellow citizens because you were content to move in the shadows of the Federal bureaucracy or you figured you had us so far over the barrel that our complaints would never amount to anything, you now have no public sympathy when you need it.BruisePage said:From my knowledge, fed workers have always had a bit of a negative image, mainly because gov services tend to be slow. Slow and unfriendly. So the right is trying to cash in on that, that we are all lazy deep state employees. Since everyone already had a viewpoint that gov workers are slow and unfriendly, the general public is quick to buy into it. They don't differentiate the IRS customer service rep getting yelled at all day from the scientist at the FDA. We are all lazy deep state employees.
Now that I have worked for the government, I understand the problems, and why it is not as efficient as a public company. But this administration is doing everything it can to cut taxes for the rich and corporations. We are an easy cut. We are a pawn in a political process.
Does fedposting still exist in a post-fed world? If an anon fedposts on a board, and no fed is around to see it, does it make a sound?I'm disappointed this thread isn't about Fedposting.
Why should we feel sympathy for federal employees fired by DOGE?I will never celebrate people losing their jobs. I have a job and live paycheck to paycheck. My kids would lose schooling and food.
Look, taxation is theft and fuck the IRS and etc, but... come on. Everybody has a sob story about how they're special and the rules don't apply to them. Kiwifarms exists to document people like this. A "no exceptions, ever" policy makes perfect sense here.Even the IRS has policies that explicitly forbid agents from showing compassion to taxpayers in crisis, instead directing them to suicide hotlines rather than offering relief from overwhelming debt.
