I would've just written this off as more TS1 nostalgia-bait memberberries, because TS4 has been adding quite a few of those over the years. Such as slapping in the prank calls from TS1 into TS4, despite the fact that 1: the prank calls worked because no one knew at the time what they were for, and 2: the era of cell phones has pretty much killed the entire concept of prank calls. Plus, the animations for the cake dancing are just recycled from TS2, which just adds to the laziness.

But then the video showcased at the very end that children can pop out of the cake. I know they're trying to downplay the sexiness of it, because it's current year and anything that appeals to straight men is illegal now. However, knowing that the whole "person popping out of cake" thing is a concept heavily associated with bachelor parties, which the original TS1 version leaned very hard into, I felt very unnerved by the fact that the devs would allow children to do this. It brings back to mind the "glitch" where Sims in TS4 could have romance-related wants with children.

And as expected with all of the ways EA spoiled it, the Burglar returns for the 2/25 update.

Surprisingly, she looks normal compared to the rainbow Sims EA has been shoving out lately, but since a new Burglar NPC is generated if she is killed/moved in, maybe the generated ones will go full-uggo.

Patch Notes are also out, but there is no mention of the Save Corruption bug in For Rent being fixed, and that bug has been around since the EP released in December 2023.

Technically, it was already in the game with the "Sharing is Caring" NAP in Eco Lifestyle, aka The Sims Team devs trying to shove in a pro-Socialism message, but people were annoyed by that, as well as how NAPs worked in general, so much so that EA had to add an option where only your votes count towards what NAP is used.

Some players have reported that the patch gave their Sim children pregnant bellies, for reasons unknown, but not surprising for The Sims 4 being over a decade old:

And surely this is just a bug, and not EA trying to push more degenerate messaging into TS4, right?

Everything from the music that lacks the sting of the past 3 Sims games Burglar themes, the burglar's reaction to the alarm, the Sims in the house just walking to the burglar and not running and not panicking, and the way the Police Officer just walks in and fights the burglar and "arrests" afterwards.

The misshaped body glitch that appeared in the new patch is also affecting Infants and Toddlers too, some children are also becoming buffed bodybuilders because of the glitch, and some are getting big butts that wouldn't be out of place in a Sir-Mix-A-Lot song:

Rumor is that the body glitch is tied to an upcoming feature for gradual aging, based on code in the game. Not that I’d trust Eaxis to do it properly given the current status of the Sims 4.

In fact, I’d expect this sort of feature to completely wreck the carefully edited Sims that a lot of modded players have, and lead to this feature being disabled completely through mods.

EA has officially acknowledged the misshaped body glitch, and said that the work around for it is to turn Testing Cheats on, go to CAS full edit mode, and change the Sim's gender and change it back.



I wonder what kind of spaghetti code makes it so that doing that fixes the issue.

There is a weird bug with classes in the Hobbies & Business expansion, where Sims will do random things on their own during classes. Sims can even do interactions with mods randomly this way, like opening gunfire with the Extreme Violence mod:

EA has consistently released "nonbinary" and trans Sims in their expansion and game packs for the past 3 years.

Businesses and Hobbies adds 2 pre-made enbies and not to mention, probably a few townies. EA also released a family to the gallery they used in the trailer that has a "nonbinary" CHILD. A GODDAMN KID. Leif C Branche is the kid's name.

Fuck EA and their evil social engineering.

Just a brief update. I was curious about the swastika tattoos so I got in the game library to see if I could find something offensive. I discovered that if you search the tags "German" or "Germany", no results will be shown. So if I upload a tattoo of the German flag and with the tag , does that mean EA automatically deleted
