so am I the only person who thinks that the zelensky-trump-vance freakout looked entirely staged?
I could believe it, as much as I want to believe it's real. Everyone benefits after all.

-Trump and Vance get an excuse to disengage from the Ukraine without looking like they gave into Russia, since their puppet Z-Man is openly choosing to continue the war
-Zelensky gets to look strong and not an American puppet to his allies in the EU and the domestic Ukronazis.

Maybe "someone" torpedoed the deal behind the scenes and we just saw a bit of political theater they did over the top of it. But I really hope it was real because it was way too funny and honestly I don't think TPTB would ever do anything that benefits Trump.

I just have a really hard time believing that this actually happened, when I was watching it live I was like, this is what the public has been conditioned to think can happen because it happens in tv shows and movies but this hasn't happened since, what, the fucking shoe? and that was two equals, not a suppliant and a patron.

The outgoing Clinton administration did a lot of protocol sabotage to the Obama administation and I noticed that the general public didn't get it because the general public no longer understands, well, having manners. But most of that sabotage was signalling to the other power players, not to us. This really feels like kayfabe.
if it was meant to signal something to power players, it would've been done elsewhere. no matter how you look at it, it's easy to see that trump is not acting as he gets more and more visibly pissed off at zelensky throughout the whole time.

zelensky does not look strong from this. he immediately backpedaled with a wall of tweets where he might as well have said uwu mistew twump i'm so sowwie!

Zelensky really should have gotten a translator. His English is poor and he struggled to make a point.
I noticed in the Bret Baier interview that Bret would use some words that Zelensky would have to confirm with his translator on. They were not uncommon words either, just ones that you would not use in an English 101 class of Z's skill level.

you've misunderstood me. the obama sabotage was primarily messaging to other power players, this happened in public for the public.

i did misunderstand my b, i agree that the power player stuff was more 'privately done', and this was done in a place everyone can see, but you can tell by the response and body language of the people in the room that this wasn't something they expected. as people have pointed out before, trump is a terrible actor. he lost his temper slightly on a reporter asking a question to him. unlikely that was planned, you know?

you are too autistic to make this call be for real

I, a neurotypical woman, looked at that and it looked like a high school scene study

glad you're credentialed to diagnose me with autism over the internet, faggot. why don't you make an argument and cite some reasoning for it instead of just saying YEAH BUT I FEEL LIKE IT WASN'T REAL SO IT WASN'T. what are you, a fucking libtard?

Trump said himself: this is why I wanted it to run so long.
This is what happens behind closed doors. Trump and Vance and maybe Rubio explain that Ukraine is fucked, horribly in debt to the US, and has "no cards", the stupid beak faced puppet replies "I need guarantee, I need security, I need you to promise you will kill Putin if he ever troubles Ukraine again".
Trump and Co say: Yeah no problem, let us have your minerals. We'll set up US companies in your country, then if anything happens in the future, we can tell Russia to fuck off, circumnavigating the NATO requirement, make sense?
Zelensky: Okay that makes sense
Later, when the media is present, Zelensky starts his whole shtick "Putin is a killer, terrorist, no ceasefire, he lies, we hate him."

As an example Estonia's publicly available defense strategy for "in the event of sudden violent Russification" is: mobilize the reserves as quickly as possible, dig in, kill as many as we can, and hope the rest of NATO saves us in time. Do with this information what you will
They've been good on their NATO payments even when Trump demanded an increase in his first term iirc so I admittedly give them a pass.

Im going to try and be nice about this but do you need me to explain how diffrent sized airplanes do diffrent jobs, not just based on how we are feeling but by their sheer physical makeup

do you understand why having less than 150 bombers in a fleet might be a problem when the fucking vietanmese were able to to shoot 3 down with wire guided soviet era missiles?

Its like playing whack-a-mole some days....
I realize this is news for your dumb ass but it isn't the Cold War anymore and the USAF doesn't need to dispatch hundreds of bombers to level whatever they need to anymore. Modern PGMs mean that most of the time, you don't need a gigantic bomber to get the job done. And when you do they are never ever deployed somewhere that hasn't already been worked over extensively by SEAD assets. The B-52 in the modern era is used almost exclusively as a PGM truck for when you want something that can loiter for a long time and has a secondary role as part of the nuclear deterrent.

what about the other baltics? cause they must all be extremely freaked out

also maybe this is a stupid question but I see a lot of people talking about how the fighting has slowed down... but uh isn't it still winter? isn't part of why it's critical to get to a peace decision now because spring is coming?
