Fallout 4 is awesome, but so is New Vegas.
I'd love to get back into playing New Vegas, but after playing Fallout 4 for so long, I'm not sure if I can re-adjust to the gameplay.

I can tell you that 3 & NV feel clunky and floaty compared to 4. They're still fun, but they do show some age these days.

Give it awhile. Obsidian will come crawling back to Bethesda now that their World of Tanks clone (no seriously that's what they've been doing all this time, other than mechanically boring low budget 2d RPGs) failed. That was supposed to be their big money maker.

Obsidian is not gonna be crawling back
They've basically been there since day one saying "pwease pwetty pwease let us make a new fallout", same as fans begging Bethesda to let Obsidian take a shot at it.
Bethesda are the problem and even though they fucked Obsidian over like crazy financially to the point they almost shut down, I'm sure they hold a grudge because fans think NV is way better than 3
Oh and right now their next major project right now is PoE2 so yeah I think we can forget about that

With how shit Obsidian's writing has been lately I'm kind of glad they didn't get to make another Fallout. They'd probably litter the thing with SJW bullshit.

Yeah
J Sawyer was responsible for some of the best writing in the game but they also reigned him in a lot. Don't know that this would happen today

I liked the idea of it but the execution wasn't great. Having to manage a 100+ raiders I had no control over really burned me out. I loved Raider Radio though.

I was exaggerating but I remember there being the cringey beast-woman tribe, a woman asking you to rescue her wife with no explanation of how such a union exists in the world, the really awkward scene with the douchey northmen guy telling a female commander of the scarlet rose to surrender and be his whore but she's a strong independent woman so fuck no, more female commanders than males but I didn't really care much about that.
