February employment out, good numbers considering the purge in the government 90% of new hires were private sector instead of Joepedo padding his numbers with gubmint hires:

The funniest thing about this to me is we are adding all these jobs and they are NOT DEI HIRES. Biden pushing DEI likely helped pump employment numbers up with bullshit makework positions available for anyone with a pulse (and melanin), but that fake shit is being overrun by REAL jobs, and you love to see it.

This right here is everything wrong with Trump in general, he is indecisive not taking a side and in doing so he pisses off everyone.

He is seen by the public and by American allies as pro Putin when that isn't really accurate, he just wants peace and it's clear he only wants peace so he can say he did it and brag about ending the war or so he can spend the money on some other stupid project or send it to Israel.

Here is the thing though by taking this retarded approach he gets none of the benefits of being pro Russia or pro Ukraine. He already pissed off our allies and caused them to hate us and retaliate, but he isn't going to be able to get concessions out of Russia and BRICS by being pro Russia .

He did this with guns to where when America had a bunch of mass shooting she passed gun control but the left still saw him as an NRA gun nut who is killing kids.
Russia is now ready for ceasefire.

This was all planned between Putin and Trump.

Calm your titties.

I don't know if that's necessarily wrong with Trump. I think it's more an indictment on the current state of political K-Pop fandom.
Trump is, and always has been, a 90's era Democrat. Very middle of the road on 90% of shit. The window has just shifted enough that "I don't want war, and I want American jobs brought back." causes simultaneous brain aneurysms in anyone that has to color coordinate wardrobe with political beliefs.

This faggot Steve Cohen trying the crippled and retarded strategy to avoid talking about trannies:

If you remember, this faggot ate KFC at a hearing during the 45 term because Barr wouldn't testify in front of them for something gay even though they're on the same side:

Another career politician that needs wheeled transportation. Can this guy look any more decrepit?

These types of article are making the rounds and I'm swamped at the moment and want to know if it's an actual mistake, simply tagged in the raw database (Which btw why the fuck would AP even have access to such?) to be hand sifted through for actual curation. Or is it just leftoid hand wringers once again pulling the "sources familiar with the thinking of the subject" circle jerking media magic trick that has no grounding in reality?

That shit is why it's an issue. I'm not saving money, I'm specifically buying shit I need and I'm getting shit I can't use and have to send back because these sites lack anything resembling quality control and are perfectly content to sell fuses that absolutely will cause a fucking fire if used. It's like that knockoff self-cleaning litterbox that was actively killing cats and despite countless complaints on basically every website, kept getting sold as the product it was knocking off.

I agree but this is actually a separate issue that could theoretically be solved by better international enforcement of regs (lol) or by harsher customs and harsher customs actually applied to shit that matters instead "your gay sticker is in the wrong place"

the eu manages this better than we do (at the cost of much more gay sticker nonsense), russia and the developing world much much worse

I think he's just trying to show he can be hard on Russia too. I don't think Russia will care that much based on being sanctioned to shit already.

The chinaman cannot comprehend not playing nepotism, and instead punishing both for bad behavior until behavior improves

Tariffs are an effective way to twist your neighbors arm into being ever so slightly less retarded than before the arm twisting, so Russia isn't exempt from being called out for their bullshit by someone who actually knows how to use them (See: TSMC and Honda).

Trump knows what America is worth. 'Allies' will lie through their teeth, Eurofags will feign ignorance and pretend we're doing worse than ever, and third world media will attempt to force this fake narrative that we're the bad guys and they can easily get by without us, but the tariff threats speak volumes about the real truth.

They NEED America to get by. We're like the 50 year old dad working his ass off on a 40+ hour schedule, and everyone else has been leeching off our living for the last 4 years.

Now Trump's putting his foot down and saying they need to help around the house and find a real job soon, or their ass is gonna be out on the street by the end of the month.

Anyone who argues with their parents about politics rather than just nodding along and changing the subject is a giga retard who should be taken out of the will.
Unfortunately for me it's usually my dad instigating and bringing up Trump and how evil for no reason. Naturally, as that kind is apt to do, he doesn't have a conversation he just talks over you when he hears a different opinion, even if it wasn't really an argument.

My point being is sometimes it's not the kids that are crazy.

Sanctions appear to have more impact when they're done to a country who does a great deal of trading with the countries sanctioning it. The issue is that over time the country that is being targeted can adapt to them and if it survives the initial shock effectively it can still somewhat function as a state afterwards. For example Cuba and North Korea are still around despite international trade restrictions lasting for decades now.

We have to bring the left to the table. Let’s throw them a bone and rename it Enola Faggot

The issue is that over time the country that is being targeted can adapt to them and if it survives the initial shock effectively it can still somewhat function as a state afterwards. Cuba and North Korea come to mind who despite not exactly being first world by any means their governments are still alive and well.
Well that's what I mean sanctions can be brutal until the countries adapt. Like I mean of anything Russias economy is not doing well and I'm off thread topic here but it made them stronger. Trump imposing sanctions is like a drop in a full bucket.

It actually is. Acquisition cost matters, and very few cheap goods are "actually" more expensive than premium goods.

e.g. a decent, Chinese-made Black & Decker blender is about $40, and an American-made Vitamix is $700. Sure, the B&D will need to be replaced a few times, but not 20 times.

You can get a decent American-made sofa for around $2300. But a $450 cheap import can easily last a decade (source: my $450 sofa turns 10 next year). No, there's not some secret $2000 cost I'm incurring by not having bought an American sofa when I had no money (and when I finally get a good one, total cost will be cheaper than if I'd borrowed money to buy an American sofa).

You're acting like everyone was buying handcrafted chairs and tailored suits before 1994. Cheap, mass-produced factory goods were driving out artisanal goods in the first half of the 20th century. The era of every chair being an heirloom ended before my Boomer parents were born. That Formica garbage from the 1950s doesn't represent some necessary civilizational skill that we need to recover.

you're evading the creation of a market for the huge influx of goods no one needs and not in the sense of "you don't akshooally need a chair you can sit on the floor," but in the bubble machine sense, which again was the point of the comment you originally responded to

you're also stuck on dirt cheap/very expensive binary again which is not going to be the case going forward if this all works. american-made (as we all know that just means american-assembled but let's move on) are currently only made for the high end market because *without tariffs* it's impossible to compete on the cheap with products coming from countries without labor protections and enviromental regulations. but if tariffs allow for the production of a $250 blender, that you buy once, and that extra cost also pays for your retard cousin to have a job on the line instead of being a useless misery to everyone around him, reduces Asian pollution, and reduces waste because it's repairable, maybe we the American people want to pay that cost there at the checkout instead of in gibs and cancer and dead birds and fish.

you've also created an entirely new bullshit contrast, between the pre-industrial handcraft world and the current world of totally globalized industiral production, I am in no way acting like everyone was wearing bespoke and hiring cabinetmakers before 1994, talking about the creation of halloween costumes and shade mechanics is not the equivalent of pretending everyone was making their own shit, this argument is in bad faith.

I actually super duper agree that it's been great to have $75 blenders, $100 vacuum cleaners, and something that rarely gets brought up here because I'm one of the only mothers, incredibly afforable children's shoes and jackets. Like you I remember the previous situation. But again, not a binary, this time not between all good or all bad. There have been a lot of great things about cheap consumer goods but also a lot of bad things and it's time for a correction from the bad.
