I'm genuinely shocked that his career has continued this long. I want to see how long he manages to continue his dumpster fire of a career until it completely falls apart. I want to see how it finally ends.

Everyone knows at this point that his existence as a khantent creator is a total anomaly and he is only propped up by some megawhales. He barely gets any organic viewership or support otherwise.

Based off the bullet points someone shared earlier about triple P's most recent show with DSP, despite openly making fun of DSP to his face he also does seem to actually want DSP to be in a better position in life and have a redemption arc that maybe doesn't even involve the internet.

As others have said, there really is no point in interviewing Phil anymore. I think that's what was so special about Sidescrollers, to see Phil give an "answer" and be amazed at how he would simply lie and bruteforce "it wasn't me" until they just gave up. What Steve did also had its merit because he wasn't so cordial and didn't treat Phil with any dignity because he had made up his mind that Phil didn't deserve it.
Even if ALT or another DSP scholar was to get in a call with him, the same would happen. Deny, don't remember, try to circle around that, use semantics to avoid the topic and so on.

What I think would work is if Phil was a guest on regular shows and have (very recent) clips ready to call out Phil if he starts acting hypocritical, which would take 5 seconds. Or just have him on a show about politics, content creation, gaming, whatever. I think the only entertainment value Phil provides these days is just how utterly retarded and incompetent he can be. I said it before but I would love Phil to give his pendulum speech in a serious political show by people with actual knowledge on politics, not retards refreshing /pol/ every five minutes.

I think there is potential. Instead of exposing Phil as someone who lied, expose him as the dumb piece of shit he is today.

So if an interviewer could ever tie everything together like this and get phil to actually experience real introspection, it would be worthwhile, but another interview just jumping from one random topic to another over and over again would just be the same thing we've already seen multiple times now.

FWIW, ALT has said that he will not chase an interview with DSP but depending on the situation will not turn it down because he knows it would be a big deal “professionally,” which I understood to mean viewership, profile, and of course money.

There's a reason I used the word "discussion" in place of "interview" in my TL;DW of Smark Guys. Obviously no one is interested in a straight interview; that ship has long sailed now. But an open ended discussion, with no pressure from any side, would be much different. ALT would be great for such a format - he would be laughing half the time which would make it a lot less serious, and more importantly, bring Phil's guard down. Imagine him and ALT chatting it up about the good ol' days, we could get a lot of juicy/embarrassing stories that he otherwise wouldn't have told. And most importantly, he wouldn't have burned that bridge, leaving another avenue for milking Phil open.

Triple P only puts up with him because he basically earned a license to openly dunk on him and DSP won't say anything back.

I don't think any sane person would want to deal with DSP and his bullshit lies as a show. It would be exhausting. He's a genuinely miserable person at heart and he gets pleasure out of lying or thinking he is outsmarting anyone. No one cares anymore or will fall for that shit. He lied about the takedown leaks and he lied profusely about WWEC.

Only someone who has nothing else to do with their life would be able to stomach taking on DSP as a regular guest.

Put me in the camp that he is freaking out about his taxes. We are a month and a week from the tax deadline and it makes sense from a timing perspective. I personally believe that he thinks if he mentions taxes and holds a fundraiser for them that it will give the detractors a W.

If he holds a fundraiser for them I don't think anyone will donate. He lost so many old school "fans" since the side scrollers, kino casino and admitting to WWE champions.

It kind of depends what the donation goal would even be but everyone knows he has made tons of money recently so I think that is even less reason that people would donate.

As a general response to comments about another Phil interview / confrontation, I do feel there’s a specific area you could focus on that would really rattle Phil to the point where he would chimp out in spite: questioning his status as a loving family man. Sidescrollers didn’t wanna be that aggressive, and Steve didn’t really touch on it. Having someone like ALT lay out the fact that Phil never does anything for Khet (no honeymoon etc), how he locks Jasper in a room all night / bloodwork scandal, or how he constantly throws Kat under the bus or makes her out to look like a retard would get Phil extremely defensive and would draw a more extreme reaction than anything else imo.

We all know Phil is going to cope and lie. It’s literally all he has left as a defense. But I for one think there’s more quality gold dust to be had. It would also be a nice humiliation ritual to have Phil give someone like ALT the respectful Keem treatment only to get immediately shit on and demoralized. Idk man of the things Phil could do, would you rather see that or him play some shitty RPG or painting simulator or something just waiting for him to lash out at the occasional troll in chat, or him try to pignotize ALT?
