That goes without saying. One should also learn from it.
He might have been busy or whatever. We cannot know. He might have been trying to see if there is any truth to that. Most people are in disbelief when they have been fooled. It is a normal reaction. He only owned up to it after Ubisoft sent him a cease and desist, not after he found out it was bullshit.
Not much to tell, Ubisoft canned Rayman 4 for Raving Rabbids, ie the minigame collection, and Rayman brand with it. I assume there was much more shenanigans with BG&E2, eventually when Ubisoft started turning into Far Cry and Assassins Creed factories, Ancel was incompatible with their vision and left the company. BG&E2 can release, but it will not be the game we waited for, I believe we need Ancel for that and he simply cannot work under current Ubisoft management. This was a long time coming, there were more worrying signs that Ubisoft was going towards their current direction around late 2000s than just the death of Rayman brand, Splinter Cell Conviction was cancelled because "hobo sam" did not do well with QA testers or whatever, and was later rebooted as a non-stealth third person action game. Rainbow Six: Patriots was similarly gutted for being "too controversial" and it's online component turned into Siege, similar thing happened to Prince of Persia where that brand died so Assassin's Creed could get famous and then sell out for yearly releases. Pretty much all creativity in Ubisoft died and Ancel was one of, if not the most creative man at Ubisoft, so he was no longer needed .I remember hearing about that but not the details. Got a play-by-play somewhere bychance?
Even then he went "sorry, not sorry" as if the guy tricked him.He only owned up to it after Ubisoft sent him a cease and desist, not after he found out it was bullshit.
That would at least be a more respectable death. Much moreso than "terminal nigger worship", which France is currently suffering from.Honestly I'd rather have been a survivor of the Hiroshima bomb with all the agony that entails than play AssShadows.
I genuinely only get info. on this trashfire from this site. Is this cancer STILL not released yet??? God damn, like get this nigger out of my face already ubisoft... I'd rather play as the fucking Doritorai... Caucasians being a hell of a lot closer to Asians than Negroids are.View attachment 7085035
Was greeted with this in Ubisoft Connect just now. To me, giving away the DLC + the bonus mission in the standard version screams that they're expecting this to be a Hiroshima sized bomb.
Michel Ancel left Ubisoft on his own terms. He was frustrated by the staff, claiming that they only know how to make Far Cry/Assassin's Creed games (forgot which one). Ubisoft staff claim he was too toxic. He left Ubisoft in 2020, but recently it was announced last October that he would be a consultant in another Rayman game if it leaves the exploration phase.I remember hearing about that but not the details. Got a play-by-play somewhere bychance?
Nope, was supposed to come out in Feb, but was delayed to 20th March for polish, or to avoid getting mogged by KCD2, depending on who you ask.I genuinely only get info. on this trashfire from this site. Is this cancer STILL not released yet???
Now it's going to get mogged by Rise of Ronin and Yasuke Simulator.or to avoid getting mogged by KCD2
Damn, "over-budget" Hideo Kojima is blushing at that number!apparently, the game has cost Ubisoft a staggering $400 million
Bullshit. He got MeTooed and left to go hang out at his animal sanctuary full time.Michel Ancel left Ubisoft on his own terms. Same way they always do, stick UPlay and MTX into an already functional game.I wonder how they'll fuck up the new Anno game.
Snow White, the live action remakes have already worn out their welcome and little mermaid lost money.Snow White release a day apart, but which is going to be the bigger financial disaster?
Depends how you define bigger financial disaster. Snow White is likely to lose more money, but isn't going to kill or even drastically change Disney. Shadows bombing might lead to a takeover, or some other big change at Ubisoft, given the current state of it.Shadows and that shitty new Snow White release a day apart, but which is going to be the bigger financial disaster?
