Turning around the flights doesn't even make sense in a judicial balance of powers - Whether they're gang members or subject to the invaders act or not is irrelevant to the fact they've already been rounded up and deported on the completely legitimate charge of illegal immigration, which got them on these planes in the first place. And none of that matters when there's basically no arguable damages to the person for deporting them now. Removing them from the country doesn't deny them income, as they cannot legally work, does not deny them property which they cannot legally own, and does not count as cruel or unusual punishment as they are simply being returned under perfectly established legal precedent to a safe country.
Imagine how the opposition feels. Trump has wrecked their plans. Their supply chains are being dismantled. They are being forced to show their cards over and over.
It is empathetic of you to care about other's suffering. Take care of yourself, so you can care for others when you are able. This situation is endlessly fascinating to me -- the judiciary is trying to quite literally usurp the executive's authority, in what (I think) is an unprecedented situation in US history. They can't possibly expect this to go well for them ("they" being both the idiots behind the scenes making these judges dance and of course the judges themselves) and I'm eager to see how this blows up in their faces.
