I don't care about ES all that much so it was never my cuppa and I never followed it, but I'd get linked when he did something interesting like a vertical comic about the Cat Girl going down stairs into a dark area, and as you scrolled the page background would get darker, and when she lit a torch the navigation buttons lightened up again.

Bluesky profile states that she's 18. She joined ao3 when she was 14 and has been writing extensive lgbt fanfiction (of all the usual suspects: Owl House, Amphibia, Wings of Fire, etc.) since then. Art dump is genuinely some of the most disgusting shit I've seen in a while, it's clearly made by a little kid but there's so much gay kissing in it. Every single piece of artwork is either depicting making a marvel-esque situation out of extreme distress (comic showing someone mourning their dead being "well that happened" by the appearance of a cartoonish ghost, drawing of some heroic feat diminished with heavily blushing lesbians and a "character.exe" meme, etc.) or lesbian couples, either kissing or blushing or being "quirky and shy" and trying to hide it while blushing profusely. All of her OCs have non-feminine pronouns with the sole exception of a trans centaur (that is wearing a plate of armor and has buff arms). Dog anthro has a collar and her tongue out, as well as visible, lightning-shaped top scars.

I won't harp on her too much because I think she has driven herself legitimately insane through online research and falling in with the wrong crowd. Her comics have slowly devolved into constant grief over her wanting to kill herself and she lists 5+ mental illnesses she's been diagnosed with. Her comics went from being upset at people mocking trans dudes to what seems to be a cry for help in less than two months. Tons of self-harm scars all over her body, some near her chest (not sure if they're actual top scars or if she was cutting herself near the stomach, Psyduck proportions make it hard to tell). Mentions "feeling hypersexual" in her most recent vent post... which isn't even a day old as I write this. Apparently she's been fucked up since age 10. Not convinced she wasn't molested. I hope she gets help soon.

The only two artworks on the DeviantArt are of a vaguely nerdy fursona. (The reasons for not using tumblr were never explained and the reddit username redirects to nothing.)

Assuming everyone here began following Salt N Pepper's work with Finding Your Roots, 12/15 of these people would have been minors when they were reading her comics. Everything she makes is completely saturated with gay themes, and every comic she has made past mid-2021 has involved the normalization of some extreme mental illness (schizophrenia, low-functioning autism, DID, etc.).
Given that most of these children did not call themselves some form of LGBT prior to 2021, and depending on how lenient you are in using the term, you could argue that SNP directly groomed a fair amount of these kids.
I think it's rather heavy-handed to place all the blame on her, especially since there is a slim chance she's unaware of what exposing this shit to children does to their brains, but I doubt she's completely innocent here.

If this was a normal comic, I would say that this was a massive jump and where the comic got worse. But since this is SnP, I honestly headcanon that the point of "my life sucks because everyone is a christian nationalist" is made up in the mind of Percy.

This isn't kai at this point. This is the story Percy saw in Kai. The easy to make up background of a kid that also was rejected by everyone around him, just as he (in his own mind) is. Maybe Kai did stick around in this scene, and said something mildly along those lines, but by this point, Kai has been consumed by the tulpa of Kai that Percy has in his head, and that is what we are seeing as the reader.

Now that I think on it, maybe the bullies are also not real. Another figment of Percy's imagination. The real events are that Kai found Percy, sitting alone and smoking, and was again humoring Percy because Kai is just a teenager that doesn't know how to deal with the mental break of a friend, especially when dealing with it goes against everything he has been told about acceptance and being a good ally by the people around him. He said something that Percy didn't entirely like, or maybe just flat out left, and now Percy needs to make something up to protect his own ego. Nothing about it gels with what has been presented, nor with the emotional reactions or thoughts Kai has already shown.
