Nick is pulling Wil into his pathological obsession with Aaron. If Nick’s dumb enough to make it a legal matter (and we know he is), Wil has more to lose than he does. Wil is so addicted to the thrill of being part of the drama that he failed to abort mission when it started posing a threat to his livelihood.
He has fallen to the dark thrall of Baldo. Perhaps he has already offered up his wife to St Nick, soon he must give a cum sacrifice.

Aaron addressed an adjacent mini-mystery on his show tonight. I haven't seen it clipped. It's at 1:25:49.

The TLDR:
  • He thinks there are ties between the person who runs Fox9 (or someone influential there) and Nick's parents via charity connections. He mentions Twitter messages exchanged between a member of Nick's family and someone at Fox9. (Off memory, the charity would be either the MN Zoo or MakeAWish - Bob & Celeste have donated quite a bit.) This was the reason for their negative coverage of Aaron.
This is a bizarre and delusional theory.

Especially since his evidence is... that they aren't covering the fact that he rambled on his show about being offered a plea deal? It's been over a week and jack shit has been filed on MCRO. I'm not exactly sure what he's mad at them for not covering. His rambling on his show is not newsworthy for an actual real news outlet. Even if it was, why would he WANT the fact that he intends to plead guilty to a crime to be broadcast on the news? Bizarre.

No, Nick will go the way of Ralph. Every so often, we'll hear about him. There'll be some crazy new shit. But he'll never reach the heights he achieved.
If only. Rekieta is already far more boring than Ralph has ever been and has been for months now, ever since the tweet sprees he did with April back in the fall of last year where they sounded like they were on drugs.

There's nothing of interest left especially when he's decided to stop streaming.

I dunno how we're defining a "real" news outlet here, but worth noting that WJON did exactly that (ht to @Dixieland Buckaroo from this post):

Above article was also reprinted on this country station's website:

This is written by a Paul Shea, who Aaron apparently went to high school with.

Point being that Aaron quite possibly does believe it's newsworthy, does want it broadcast, and indeed got somebody to agree with him. Make of that what you will.

Now, do I agree with him that Fox should cover it? No. They would probably wait until the ink is dry on the deal, if they decide to cover it at all.

You could maybe even argue Shea doing it is premature.

KF does it because KF isn't held to "journalistic standards." Whatever the fuck those are anymore. Rumors and speculation are our bread and butter.

Yeah idk if it's news until the judge accepts it. Aaron loves to big himself up though.

We might be taking this a bit too seriously. Two things I considered today:
  1. As a "performer", Aaron uses his platform FAR too casually (see: RP sharing) and for therapy. That approach is fine for a small creator; but not so much when eyes are on him due to Nick. He may know facts about the Rekietas and Fox9 connections and simply wanted to vent about it. (Also, Nick took the bait.) But, I agree, it's' rather stupid. Fox9 has done nothing particularly wrong (that I can find).

  2. Aaron's aspiration to return to radio is what drives his ambitions - truly. He's been very clear about that. He's also been clear that the various stations that would give him a gig do NOT like the bad press. Hence, his venting.
Elissa clipped the statements in question. Her clip made me remember that Aaron also theorized that the Rekietas may have hired a PR firm. Now that's a serious stretch.

Aaron also dunked on Nick for not having any money to pay off Fox 9 (much less hire a pr firm). If not for his parents, Nick would be as broke as flat broke Geno Bisconte!

The only way Nick has an income is if he's started sucking dick professionally. But hey, do what you love...
In what Godforsaken porn rotted area of your brain are you thinking Rickets is attractive enough to be able to charge people to suck their dick?

There's always the gloryhole at the local Denny's! He could service all the great local police he jokes about!

I also doubt that very much. That said, it would be classic Nick to shell out tens of thousands of dollars to PR experts and continue to go on streams and chats talking nonstop about Aaron, his affection for April and his love of drugs.

I could believe it - but where would the money come from?

Has the plea deal unlocked another wedge from the trust fund, or is he currently coasting on what he has left from paying off the reverse mortgage?

It's hard to fathom how he is managing to stay afloat without mommy and daddy paying for him to exist, given the fact he's always been profligate - that isn't going to change overnight.

The fact Nick sat there for years being a libertarian, while getting welfare gibsmedat handouts from his ageing parents is just more evidence showing what a raging, hypocritical, man-child he is.
