Phil had been gringing PPP's gears for months already. I've been in similar situations where I'm on somewhat friendly terms with a lolcow, and there are these weird periods where you're completely fed up with them but things are still friendly so you can't justify being a dick. You do realize he has no one left? People have been talking about this for a while now, he literally has no one left to collaborate with. Those people (who I'm not super familiar with) have seen him collab with KC and have seen the dollar signs and now want DSP for the same reason.

DSP is way too stupid and definitely too lazy to do his own research on them and too arrogant to heed the warning signs people are giving him about them. If DSP had any actual sycophants left he would be asking them to research those people for him - he 100% will not put in any effort on anything himself. So if you're questioning how he's ended up in a situation where he's going to do auditions with questionable because its because he's not only stupid but incredibly lazy.

There have been thousands of times people gave him huge glaring warning signs about doing certain things, he will ignore them all and (as null said) manufacture false consensus and do whatever he wants. He did try this btw, not with Derish but one of the candidates who wanted to be co-host was evidently one of his fans and had never been on camera or on a podcast before so DSP said no to him.

He did have a "friend" who did streams I think and even that person went on the "That Being Said" livestream and confirmed what PPP was saying about how difficult it was to work with DSP behind the scenes.

DSP totally isolated his normal fanbase as soon as he partnered with KC. He's had multiple people leave because he keeps doing drama shit and he doesn't venture out of his own Twitter account or his community. DSP will not go out there in the world and try to hit up a "random no name streamer to ramble about Wrasslin". He will wait for people to message him.

There is no magical list of people who aren't sektur/whatever livestreamers lining up to work with DSP and he isn't out there trying to find them, these are probably the only people that sent him DMs asking to do streams with him.
