....fuck me that's what they actually did isn't it? They couldn't even be bothered to tweak the animation by moving the two mocapped actors data closer together, they just.... dumped it straight into the damn game.

Knowing Bioware you won't be able to kill the tumblrite characters. I also don't get the huge divergence from ME 2/3 visually. I mean fuck, ME 2 looks better than this. Someone at Bioware must have decided 'A good looking game is ableist!'

Is it that it has such a bad rep that it just can't attract talent anymore? It has been bleeding talent at a fast rate

Never underestimate the churn of most game studios. The gaming industry is honestly horrifying for this, and bare in mind some of the rot set in once Muzyka and Zeschuk left the company and those guys were responsible for most of its direction and day to day management.

Though with Jen Helper as one of the writers for Bioware, it was obvious the rot was already deep within by 2006 and has only been compounded badly since then.

If they thought that was a good idea, I dread to see what other things they thought were. Also those facial animations, holy shit, its like a plastic dummy. No wonder they only show it for five seconds.

I mean, it's not really any different than "Liara T'soni" or "Tali'zora nah Rya".

"Peebee" just a really awkward nickname though. "Lessie" would sound way better.
