Honestly, if Ubisoft (providing it still exists) decides to make a Cold War spy themed game and puts it in the Assassin's Creed series rather than the Far Cry series I think that would be a mistake.

I think forcing you to choose either the female character or George Floyd-san was the point. Player choice would be considered bad if you really want to push this character on people.

Also, the joke meme version of Assassin's Creed Shadows looks more fun than I expected:

There isn't even a way to force it through config files?

When are the developers going to stop forcing TAA on everyone?? With modern graphics technology TAA does more harm than good. It arguably wasn't even that good to start with. Why do they continue to shove this down everyone's throat?

I'd argue we're on the verge of 3 at this point if not already there. I see people on twitter saying, "Ubisoft will survive this" This ones kind of in the middle of 2 and 3 .

Elon I can possibly understand, he's the most engaged with account on the app, but there aren't that many people who even know grummz exists let alone that he hasn't released his game and what the AC account is referring to.

Either Ubi is botfarming the shit out of their own posts, or speds on twitter that hate these people are doing it for them because there's no way almost a million people showed up in this random ass thread in a single day just because the Assassins Creed account suddenly started personally throwing shade at Elon Musk and Mark Kern over Hasan Piker being a shill.

I asked myself, how many of those people retweeting, commenting, liking are actually buying the game?

proprietary engine, not UE.

using TAA makes things easier and the pros outweigh the cons depending who you ask.

might need 1080p at least to spot the difference:

If I'm being generous I would say like 5%, MAYBE.
I guarantee that even if it's organic it's just people who hate musk and kern giving internet updoots to a famous account shitting on people they hate, not people who love assassins creed or buy ubishit.

It'd be like if the official Honey Nut Cheerios Bee account suddenly responded to Alex Jones and threw shade at him for almost being bought out by The Onion or something out of nowhere. If they got 700k likes for doing so, do you really think those were all from people who actually buy Cheerios, or terminally online mf's who just hate Jones?

In the end, it's still a full price AAA game. Dunking on Grummz and Musk is free.

You can bet there's people at Ubisoft wringing their hands thinking that'll give the game a needed boost cause they take the numbers at face value.

That would be more appropriate for Chris Roberts, that fucker made like a billion dollars with his dumbass game that has been blown the fuck out by at least Elite Dangerous, Mark hasn't done dick since selling and being booted off Firefall besides grifting a hundred thousand on Indiegogo and who knows what from selling preorders for putting up some forums and posting some renders, but whatever it was still pales compared to others, he could have earned more just having a furry visual novel on Patreon, Xitter likes don't mean shit, he might as well be Asian Patrick Tomlinson with his dumbassery.

They're probably going to keep trying to do it until the company goes under. Anything to try and get more players.
