Finland now on suicide watch. I know a bunch of people from Finland and not one of them likes Donald Trump and one of them actively cheers for his assassination.

I feel bad for any conservatives trapped in Finland.
The majority of Finns probably dislike Trump and his politics. That doesn't mean that they think Finland shouldn't try to engage with him, and try to maintain good relations.

If there is one thing us Finns are good at, is sucking off the leaders from superpowers. We had a good half a century of experience with the Soviets to learn this lesson, Trump isn't anything new in this regard.

I'm really not in agreement with Vance at all. I get the concern he had but the Houthis, even though esoteric, caused global inflation by forcing Europe to spend millions clearing cargo ships. You can scream Jews and jump up and down all you want, but that's the reality. The Houthis were causing inflation all around the planet to enrich themselves and blowing them the fuck to kingdom come is in the best interest of everyone.
When people whine about empire, they forget the negative things that empires have eliminated. For example, the British Empire virtually eliminated the international slave trade, and the US empire has almost entirely eliminated piracy.

Killing the Houthis is basically our job and why we exist as a force on the global stage.

This was the thought before we joined NATO. War in Ukraine demonstrated that Russia had in fact, not changed one bit from the good old Red Army days. That there wouldn't be a scenario where Finland (or any other country) could simply inflict devastating losses to the Russian military, and the Russian government/population would then give up on the idea of invading. This was always the idea of a a well trained, well equiped reserve army of Finland. Well, turns out that it matters fuck all if Russia is in fact ready to accept hundreds of thousands of dead soldiers in the 2020s, which they are. That's what swayed our politicians and the population as a whole to seek NATO membership.

Regarding the Winter War, it may very well be that France and Great Britain persuaded Stalin to give in and accept the cease-fire and peace when it happened. And it was good that he did, the Finnish army was on the brink of collapse.

This article has interesting details about the political diplomatic drama happening between America, Greenland, and Denmark. Includes Dogsledding, Denmark's involuntary sterilization of Greenlandic women, and forced boarding schools.

JD Vance’s Trip to Greenland Is a Strong, Smart Move—RealClearPolitics

Vice President J.D. Vance and second lady Usha Vance are slated to make a historic trip to Greenland’s northwest coast and visit Pituffik Space Base, where they’ll meet our nation’s guardians and airmen on base, tour the facility, and discuss the growing importance of Arctic security in American foreign policy.

The trip is historic – the first time a sitting vice president has seen Pituffik and the farthest north one has ever traveled, by a long shot. It also demonstrates the Trump-Vance administration’s clear commitment to strengthening America’s presence in the Arctic, which is integral to our military’s anti-ballistic missile and satellite defense efforts. Unfortunately, the visit also comes on the heels of an ugly, dishonest spat initiated by Denmark, which – after receiving bad press following decades of mistreating the Greenlandic people – is deflecting with attacks on the second lady.

Every year, the people of Greenland host the Avannaata Qimussersua, a national dogsled race that allows islanders to compete for top musher status. However, the prestigious race has faced significant financial challenges in recent years. To help foot the bill, the U.S. Consulate in Nuuk, which President Trump reopened in 2020 after it lay dormant for seven decades, provided a multi-year grant to the dogsledding association that organizes the event, which will help Greenlanders transport their dogsled teams across the island in advance of the race.

When several of the organizers and sponsors of the Avannaata Qimussersua extended invitations to Usha Vance to attend – with the chairman of the association even asking her to wave the flag to kick off the race – it appeared to be a moment of genuine warmth between the Greenlandic and American peoples. The trip presented an opportunity to deepen our bonds and allow the second lady to learn more about Greenland’s culture by visiting Sisimiut and participating in one of the island’s greatest annual rituals.

However, after word got out that Usha Vance had agreed to join, Copenhagen became apoplectic. Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen attacked the trip as “unacceptable” and warned that she would “stand against” it – a shockingly undiplomatic, hostile reaction to someone attending a dogsledding race in your former colony. The Danish government’s attacks ended up snowballing into a much larger smear campaign.

Why all the touchiness from Copenhagen? Perhaps it’s because of the recent attention that Denmark has received for its mistreatment of the Greenlandic people over the centuries they’ve ruled over them. Last year, a group of Greenlanders launched a historic lawsuit against the Danish government for the mass IUD birth control campaign that it allegedly waged in the 1960s and 1970s against thousands of women on the island, many without their knowledge. And in 2020, Prime Minister Frederiksen was forced to apologize to Greenlandic children who had been removed from the island to be reeducated in Denmark as part of a failed social experiment.

More generally, the Danish government faces increasing discontent from the Greenlandic people over what islanders view as neglect and underinvestment from Copenhagen, which has resulted in the decay of what limited infrastructure does exist across the island. So it follows that the Danes may be on edge as President Trump calls for Greenlanders’ right to self-determination.

Regardless, the Trump-Vance administration looks magnanimous in the face of Denmark’s diplomatic slights. Vice President Vance is doing the right thing by joining his wife on the trip, and Americans should applaud the White House’s forward-looking goal of boosting U.S. leadership in the Arctic.

As Russia and China ramp up their own investments in the region, never has it been more important for America to step up and ensure that our military presence in Greenland – an integral part of the anti-ballistic missile shield that protects the North American continent – grows even stronger. And as Americans, we should celebrate the important lesson it sends to the Danish government: The U.S., Greenland, and Europe all benefit from stronger American ties with Greenland, and our nation will not be cowed or intimidated by those who fail to recognize this basic reality.

I remember when people thought Trump talking about acquiring Greenland was a joke. Trump is good at speed running "first they ignore you, then they laugh at you. . ." His political maneuvering is interesting.

The government considers all Hispanics that don’t say otherwise as white/white+other.
It’s really only a problem if they don’t include the Hispanic distinction. (Which the FBI sometimes doesn’t do to make minorities look better.)
Hispanic is a separate column. Under race, your only options are black, Native American, white, Asian, and other. Racially, of course, Hispanics are virtually all Native American, but federal guidance explicitly states to only choose this box if you are currently affiliated with a tribe. So they're not Native American. They're white.

The problem isn't empire. The problem is empire not serving the American people. The US government controlling the Suez is awesome. Things are moving in the right direction, but that is why people don't really like our empire.

Yet we don't really get any benefit(beyond not fucking up the world's overly tangled economy). Europe looks down on the US for not having what they see as the enlightened institutions of Free Health Care and Education, all the while it's the US's shouldering the vast bulk of military spending that allows them such things.
In the old way the world worked, they'd be giving us tribute.

WWIII or are they just trying to get more money from the US? Also Jimmy Carter was the biggest retard president ever.
Could be that they tried to take too big a bite. If buying that HK company would mean de facto US control of over 43 international ports, it's possible that some of those ports are critical to Chinese interests.

In the old way the world worked, they'd be giving us tribute.
Making everyone use the USD, that we created on demand, is the tribute.

The majority of hispanics/latinos don't check hispanic/latino on government paperwork. Most have literally no idea what Hispanic/Latino even is, since it's a category created by American academia and hasn't traveled South, and since most of them view themselves as their nation of origin as race. Argentinian, Venezuelan, Ect, and see no racial bonds with other countries and peoples. Hispanics have less social and support connection as a group than Blacks, or Asians, and only just barely above Whites (mostly thanks to the majority having been Mexican and sharing a strong culture/family bonds, but naturally that's decreasing now due to South/Central Americans moving in), and like "Whites" they fucking hate each other and refuse to be categorically the same.
They can be up there in internal racism with Asians at times.

The majority of people that use Hispanic are some sort of half/quarter white kids looking for gimmedats for university. Most don't speak Spanish, and are basically the same as any other American mutt.

It's honestly hilarious how unused these terms are outside of the liberal bubble, which is partly why Libs are always pissed at Latinos, they just ignore the "help". In self-reporting like this, the demographics are so utterly ruined that it's basically useless outside of blacks being proud, and shameless, blacks and thus the most accurate self reporting.

Speaking of Ukraine, Zelensky being the snake he is, backing out of minerals deal and saying the aid we gave wasn't a loan (it was). Cut them off, leave NATO, let them be fags on their own. This is ridiculous, you don't deal with the coke mood swings of a manlet:

Is this going to change deal or are they just going to ignore this tard?
