It's recently been discovered that For Rent is bugged so badly that it outright destroys save files. Entire lots and families just outright disappear, and once it started it's too late to fix. Everything in the file will disappear. What does EA do? Come out with another fucking expansion pack when the bugs from Life and Death haven't been fixed, of course. The small business feature is probably going to use the same kind of coding as rental units and thus destroy even more saves. The latest patch came with all new bugs that haven't been fixed, and the time travel challenge was a wet fart. The only reason I bothered with it is because of the stripper cake, but the dance is child friendly. Did EA forget what the T rating stands for?

This game is over a decade old and has been built on a foundation of spaghetti since day one, and they still just piling more crap onto it. EA announced that Sims 5 has been axed, and are going to making more packs. This game is going to keep updated until it collapses in on itself. I uninstalled my pirated copy of 4 Rent, and a bunch of other pirated packs I don't care for and the game and my mods run a lot smoother now. I won't even pirate the new stuff they come out with. It's such a shame because Tomarang is such a beautiful world and the pack comes with beautiful build and CAS content.

The Sims 4 community constantly acknowledges these problems and that EA are worms, but are so pathetic they'll keep giving EA money. More like The SIMPS 4, amirite?

Even the Lovestruck EP felt a bit tame and too safe at times. The women's lingerie offered in that EP was lacking compared to the The Sims 3 Master Suite Stuff Pack, and I don't remember if the Lovestruck items included those hilarious sexual puns that the Master Suite Stuff items had.

And paywalled CC for TS4 is continuing to get more and more cash-grabbing, as this creator even offers $30/month memberships:



EA's Terms of Use on paid content says that Early Access paid periods are allowed, but all CC must be available free at some point. Several CC creators have ignored those rules from EA by keeping some CC perma-paywalled, and EA hasn't gone after them for the most part. The paid CC is even worse in the Russian Sims community, as they have their own version of Patreon called Boosty.

I have heard that if you try to load all the official DLC the game barely works or has severe bugs.
