Mega Rad Gun Thread

Look, man, I'm distressingly retarded. If something can possibly, or impossibly, be fucked up, I will manage eventually.
You definitely shouldn't be using leather holsters then. You'd be looking at a level 3 Kydex hostler.
I have no idea why but this guy is set on a leather holster. Probably because it looks nice, which I can understand. I love wood furniture on guns, even though it provides no tactical advantage whatsoever.

When you have the luxury of choice you're also allowed to complain about the options you're given, isn't life grand?
Either way I decided on a flap holster for complete coverage and ease of drawing.

A buddy of mine has now destroyed two PSA uppers just trying to get the barrel nuts off. Not sure if it's insane gorilla torque, something crazy like Rocksett or both, but they really don't want you taking their stuff apart.
I needed a blow torch and a bench vise to loosen mine, I saw the upper receiver flexing by the ejection port.
But for one I got years earlier I was able to get it off by St Floyding it on a chair and using channel locks. In hindsight that was probably closer to the right amount of torque

I’m not trying to shit this thread up with politics but I’m pretty pissed about S&B and PMC exiting the market.

I want a .308 Tanker Garand for some reason.

I can't put my finger on the "why not just an M1A?". I think its because the ping is just "neat" and that if I wanted what the M1A offered I would just get a FAL instead.

A new production one would make it "guilt free" as I wouldn't be cutting up an actual Garand to make one.
well, Loading a M1 is not that much slower than a M14. The en-block is great.

this from SG ammo? I don't believe a word that man says anymore. always doomer shit and half the time it isn't true. He started that bullshit a year or two ago about Biden banning Lake city from selling ammo to civilians. was total bull.

If this becomes reality I guess I'll only be able to afford to shoot .22LR.
That or just stop shooting period...
Still our goy right?

They're reciprocal tariffs and the countries affected are much worse off than us on their best days. If they decide to play ball, which they should if they aren't retarded, disaster can be averted.
Unrelated to the thread topic, this sort of thing is the US' Sampson Option.

James Reeves shared news from Zastava that is a soft confirmation, but SGammo isn't getting my business.

Im not disputing that they are subject to tariffs. I'm disputing that this will drive them out of business. on cartridges that they have to run very thin margins on to be competitive like 9x19 and 5.56? perhaps it may hurt their bottom line. BUT it could well be true that those offerings could have only been competitive because of the US's intentional lack of self-defense in the world of trade.

No no, I understand it's not a simple as I boiled it down to be.
I'm just frustrated at the overall bullshit surrounding the whole industry/community.

Combination of it being worth almost nothing bumped up as something through marketing, and the US being the punching bag as you said.

This on top of everything we've already been going through, yeah.

Can someone recommend me a good IWB holster for a full-size Block 21?
I have too much of a spare tire for appendix carry, and I need to stop carrying at the 3 o'clock position in my Safariland.
