I don't want to sound like I'm bragging*, but my stocks are doing just fine.

If anybody you know is complaining about the state of the stock market, the only proper response is to put a shit-eating smirk on your face and tell them, in the most condescending & matter-of-fact tone possible, that they should've diversified their portfolio more.

*: I'm bragging.

All I hear is that Trump is going to deliver the single greatest blow against economic slavery in history. I don't want Chinese people working for barely anything just so that I can have unnecessary bullshit.
I am literally looking into how to import a pair of Chuck Taylors from Japan because Japan is the only place on the planet left that actually makes them correctly, and the bitch of it is that Japanese Chucks will cost about the same as the "premium" Chuck '70 that is made in fuckin' Vietnam.

Nike literally cut corners on what is already a minimalist shoe, and then has the nerve to put felt on the bottom of $90 fucking canvas sneakers to import them as slippers to duck the shoe tariff. I would rather pay more to have a superior product made by superior Asian bugmen, thank you.

Reading about tariffs I notice that all the ‘economists all agree that tariffs are literally Hitler’ stuff is in relation to free trade. Discussion about tariffs as a revenue source in comparison to income and corporate taxes is nonexistent. The only thing I could really find is a historical note that America relied on tariffs for revenue until income tax took over. Has there been any serious discussion about how tariffs providing a revenue stream to the government can (a) allow lower income tax and (b) provide stimulus power in the Keynesian sense (even though we all know Keynes is bullshit) and how those two things affect citizen purchase power?
All the libertarians saying “tariffs bad” also want to replace income tax with a National Sales Tax…which is a universal tariff on both imports and domestically produced products.

They’re not serious people.

No. There has been no second, third, or fourth order thinking in regards to the effect on tariffs or what may be accomplished by placing them. It has only been screaming about the price of items going up. Despite Trump explicitly saying he wants to get rid of the income tax and replace the IRS with an ERS nobody criticizing the tariffs has connected one of the potential benefits of the tariffs being increased money in people's pockets by lowering or eliminating the income tax.

That's just one example. In every circumstance the only analysis happening is "price is going up on ALL goods" and "stock market line no longer go up". It's pathetic.
As I have said before, if Trump manages to abolish the income tax I will name my final child after him.

Not only is India COMPLETELY the result of British Imperialism, everything they have that Britain left them is breaking down, not being repaired or replaced, and the only thing they have going for them is the near unique ability to lie as easily as others breath while also being willing to work for absolutely fucking nothing. Chinese may be bugmen, but Jeets are literally human cockroaches.
It feels like all of our problems stem from the British Empire. I sure do hope they pull their heads out of their asses and shape up so we can have a proper war.

The British are being ethnically cleansed as punishment for Brexit. God only knows if they wake up and stop it (which will require a civil war) in time or not. Remember, parasites like Muslims and Indians will not leave voluntarily, they will have to be physically removed.

Converse have sucked since they went from the soft rubber sole to the one that was like skateboard wheel material about 15 years ago. I haven't bought a pair since.

If we're going to play Jewish tricks, you're excusing the muder of Americans and attacks on American ships by Israel.
My dad gets hung up on this one pretty bad. He'll go from citing the Bible about the world turning on Israel and help coming on eagle's wings (America), to telling me that the USS Liberty is ancient history because it was 60+ years ago. 2000+ years is relevant where 60+ years isn't.

You still made the world better.
Not when the pajeet that buys my property cuts down my beautiful tree to avoid dealing with overhanging branches.

This answer doesn't actually address what I'm getting at. I want to pass things down to my kids because they'll care about what I pass down to them. Not money, things that I've built or grown or taken care of. How am I supposed to do that when the culture specifically encourages they escape my sphere of influence entirely further breaking the chain of inheritance?

I had to buy my great uncle's house after he passed because his boomer kids didn't want anything to do with it. I felt compelled to keep it in the family because of a single memory of me mowing for him when he was older and him giving me glass bottled orange crush from a fridge in his garage. A house that he helped build, and they just didn't want to bother with.

I'm rambling, but my point is that it's not enough to build things, we have to ensure that those things are emotionally connected to those who come after us or they'll fall into disrepair and the cycle will start all over again.

Wait, but if you believe in Karma and Reincarnation doesn't that mean you need to worry about how your actions in this life will affect the next?

I don't understand, even under their own system they're acting retarded.
Hinduism doesn't really have morality as we Westerners would think about it. There's also that element of "If you let me scam/rob/rape/murder you, that was only allowed to happen because your shitty karma/previous life." "Winning" and status signaling is all the matters to them, probably gives the appearance of good karma. Everything that happens to you, good or bad is because you deserved it.

Keep in mind that modern Hinduism was partly the Brits slamming various Indian beliefs into each other until they had something unified, but Indian religion has basically always been Indo-European Paganism raped into them by our ancient Aryan cousins, but through a 75 IQ retarded brownoid lens.

I need to re-dig it up, but some of the postulations on how many uninhabited buildings they have are fucking doom pill worthy. Well, if you are a mainlander chink that is. That’s not even bringing up the rapidly shrinking population and the depressing youth unemployment, which will probably get worse as the realization there is no great Chinese century up ahead starts to dawn on them.
China's impending demographic collapse means that China is likely to start a war in the next 20 years.
How hard is to understand the Penguin Land had tariffs placed on it because Trump enacted a 10% minimum tariff on every country, with additional tariffs proportional to their trade surplus with the United States? Penguin Land is an official country, therefore it has tariffs placed on it.

It’s the dumbest “gotcha”.
And if it was a literal penguin island how did it still manage any trade with America?
