Nigger, have you seen the weath, population, and disposable income of other countries?

Most Eurofags get taxed to death, Bongoids too. The developed richer countries, Nordic, Denmark, Switzerland etc. don't have nearly enough people to replace the sheer number of consumers in the US.
The rest of the world's population is too poor to supplement the amount of goods Americans purchase. If we stop buying foreign goods, entire countries' economies would collapse. Theres no one replacing the American consumer market and even those that try won't find it easy.

In the time it takes America to figure out how to produce a spatula or toaster China will have produced 330 million first class working adults. Does he think it's going to take Americe 18+ years to make a toaster or that China has a way to grow adult humans in a vat?

When Trump started to move into politics, my initial reaction was "Who the fuck is this New York asshole? Some fucking reality show star?" When he first started to espouse his populist positions, I was suspicious. I honestly thought it was nothing more than a cynical power play to further enrich himself.

However, this video and the letter from the mid 1980s that @quaawaa linked earlier, are quite illuminating to me. Trump's positions have been consistent for decades: America is being taken advantage of to her detriment. We have global military might, which we use to protect other countries, but then those other countries take advantage of us economically. Amercia's manufacturing base has been hollowed out, leaving more and more people unable to get jobs, and making it harder to get quality, useful products. "Environmental" protections have been perverted from something that protects the natural environment to something designed to prevent businesses from being profitable.

As I've watched Trump with fascination over the past decade, it has become clear to me: he genuinely believes that. When you consider what he did before he moved into politics, it makes a certain kind of sense. He's a business man. Negotiations and dealings are what he does. And for the past 40 years, he has watched the US continue to get screwed by bad deals.
