And then my Hotels subcontracted parking enforcers charged that same credit card another 150 dollars because I was parked in the loading zone longer then 15 minutes. Well excuse me for pulling up right behind a busload of chinese tourists. Maybe if your pajeet clerk worked faster I would have gotten my parking permit in time for your arbitrary, camera enforced rules.

But I digress. The UK was a hellscape when I visited and its probably much worse now.

The US is a country that tries hard to act like a pack of cunts (especially online) but when I travel there almost to a fault most people are polite, welcoming, self deprecating, and go out of their way to make sure you enjoy their part of the world. The second people hear an Australian accent it is curiosity and outright friendliness.

The UK is bizzarro land to this. They try hard to come across as being polite, educated and urbanite but most are condescending, rude, high handed and are a pack of cunts. The second they hear an Australian accent they view you as a lesser "Englishman" and you're a cunt hair away from a quip about convict origins, "proper English" and how you "don't actually have a culture".

Look there are nice people and cunts in both groups, as there are in every group. I've just found a lot more cunts when traveling in the UK as opposed to the US.

The Brits are very class aware, they operate on this psuedo-caste system hierarchy that dictates pretty much everything socially. I'd put Sargon in average. Closer To Hasan. I've had a theory for a while with the Dunning-Kruger effect that it doesn't actually affect idiots (<90 IQs). It affects the average person.

Essentially 60% of people are 95-105, meaning they have most people thinking and processing like them. This then leads to the average person having how they think, and what they think, confirmed by group consensus as being "the correct" way to think. It becomes even worse when the midwit retreats into a "consensus bubble" or hug box. At some point, for people who fall into this trap, they become convinced (due to always having the group consensus) that they are always right, and because they believe they're always right they become confident that whatever thought they have is automatically a good and brilliant one. That belief also leads to that person no longer seeing the point of learning, thinking critically or adapting because what is the point if someone has the belief that they're "always right"? That last past is what makes them an idiot, despite having an average IQ and the ability to adapt and learn they refuse to use it because that changes that belief they've developed that they are always "right".

It's not that Carl is dumb per se, but he is EASILY led around and believes in that intelligence too much. Basically "I'm right because I'm smart" kinda guy. This is most easily seen given how triggered he got when Spencer mocked him with "You're not as smart as you think you are." Alternately, how he was shit-talking "intelligence" and "science" and whatever else, and yet a few days later, he's talking to Adam and Sitch or Dev or something, and going on about how he knows what he's talking about because he has a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy or whatever it was that he earned.
Essentially, the guy believes that whatever he has rationalized into is correct and those arguing against that are just "not seeing it" or something.

You know, I think you've nailed it here. Carl overestimates his intelligence and believes that because of said intelligence, and the support he gets from the followers, he must be right; even when he isn't.
That said, at the very least, he's willing to at least engage with alternative thoughts. Unlike Hasan who goes into everything COMPLETELY emotionally, focusing only on his preconceived notions and biases, so he will not support anything which he does not already believe in.

Makes me think if we're considering IQ, Carl is 105-110, while Hasan is low 90s at best.

No, Carl was not in the top 15%, he underperformed in his finals and went onto underperform in his first attempt at University. It was covered in the Porsalin video.

One thing people forget about IQ is that it is a measure of potential. It isn't a measure of performance. You also need to factor in other things when it comes to marked performance. Things like work ethic, motivation, confidence, mental health & social factors (siblings of BPD consistently underperform academically when living with BPD sibling for example), and there is also teacher bias (which was confirmed during COVID as good looking women who were getting high marks saw a 25% decline in grades when everything went online and the grader had no idea what the person looked like). All of these things effect the grading process.

All the grades Carl got during that time indicate was that Carl was not a good student. Him later going on to get a degree in Philosophy indicates that he has the potential to be a good student (perform with passing marks), but earlier in life he was anything but.

And I guess the issue pervading these bright kids and youtubers is that they tend to peak very early, especially if they grew up in an unstimulating educational environment, where they were able to breeze through everything. This leads to the formation of an ego complex (everybody is an idiot, except me) that always ends up biting them in the butt. They don't have the inborn skills of needing to dedicate and apply themselves to study something difficult, which tends to screw them over later in life.
