Alright so I sat down and watched the 1st episode. I know people are gonna be pissed about some of the stuff it in it but I enjoyed it.

Conroy was awesome and I love that he's not just some government glowie. He's the vice president of the United States. They do not hide the whole alternative universe/dimension stuff at all, they straight up exposition it, figure everything out and explain that low level demons can get through it and invade the world infrequently. At one point Conroy goes full crusader and drops a banger of a line.

Also the president is a Texas oil Barron looking cowboy with a sassy gay voice? (Apparently this is around early 2000s because he mentioned the last president dealing with saddam and now he has to deal with zombie and demons. So yeah, there's at least two resident evil references in this.)

Devil May Cry shouldn't do it though since that isn't what DMC is about, it had its share of political elements sure but it feels closer to the reddit 2013 DMC than the game the show was pandering towards in the advertising, Especially when the DEVIL MAY CRY GAMES DON'T TAKE PLACE IN FUCKING AMERICA.
