I'm curious if the Daily Wire paid off a bunch of bots to spam Ben Shapiro's latest videos on the tariffs with comments on how they're a disaster for the country. Just looking at the top rated comments, you see a lot of name + numbers accounts.
Every video has bots now, go check any recent YouTube video and you'll see hundreds of obvious pajeets that were paid to spam shit in broken english.

I also have a similar confusion @Nottafed

I understand the logic of putting tariffs on things like European and Asian brand cars for instance, to make American brand cars more competitive within the market (at least domestically) and discourage outsourcing labor or purchasing specific car parts abroad, but those are not tariffs targeting specific products, those are blanket tariffs. Which means that some of the products effected will involve resources like rare earth minerals, minerals necessary for making computer chips and IT tech that US simply does not have, or does not hold nearly enough to match domestic demand. What is the purpose of placing tariffs on natural resources US can't extract itself? Is the US reinvigorated manufacturing industry gonna engage in alchemy and turn stone into cesium?

Excluding critical IT resources, there are agricultural products like coffee. On paper - yes, it should promote coffee bean cultivation within the US, but US territory that is capable of growing coffee beans is almost exclusively within tropical islands. It is physically impossible to meet the demand of a country of 300+ million people for a drink that's seen everywhere, all be it pumpkin spice lattes within Starbucks or black tar coffee at construction sites. It's just gonna make coffee more expensive for no discernable benefit.

I can't help but view tariffs on certain products as counter-productive in fostering productivity.

People have explained this at length already in this thread so I'm going to be brief. Tariffs against specific things like steel and oil are to encourage domestic production and reshore industries. Blanket tariffs on countries are to encourage negotiations on trade from countries that already heavily tariff the United States.

The plan for these tariffs is not to make the United States into a turbo isolationist state that produces every single thing used by day to day people by icing out competition. It is to encourage some manufacturing to reshore itself itself in the US while also getting our trade partners to come to the negotiating table. That's it, plain stated as can be. Some unintentded industries will get caught in the mix, some goods may rise or fall in price but that's how this game is played. If you fixate on any one industry you miss the whole point of what's happening because what's happening is a shakeup of the international trade status quo that's existed for almost 200 years.

The way I see it, the biggest threat to Trump's tariffs is TPTB thinking they can just wait it out until the end of his term and then get back to business as usual. That goes double for investment in US industries which takes years to bear fruit.

All of these tariffs are by executive order. He needs to convince people that either they can get passed into law or that his successors will continue them. Otherwise America is just going to get the short-term pain and quit before getting the long-term gains.

This has always been a weakness with American foreign policy. People just wait out the current presidency.
This has been my contention with the tarrifs. Even if they do pay off there is no guarantee they will stay in place they likely won't as the average voter isn't willing to put up with the massive price increases.

TPTB can't afford to wait this out. They have existed solely off syphoning money from the United States for a very long time. Four years without funding is a death sentence to them and their pet projects. They're not dead yet though, expect them to become much more desperate and deranged as the lack of funds starves them.

If you see America as anything less than this you should be deported to a corner of the globe in which I will personally never see you again. If you do not match the energy of this drawing unironically you are just a tourist in my country

This is a but of a sideways response to your post, but anyways

I hate "environmentalists". I love the environment, but I never hear these cunts complaining about the endless plastic crap being produced in the east and shipped to the west. Instead it's all about how I (specifially) shouldn't drive, shouldn't go on holiday twice a year, how I should wear a jumper instead of turning on my fucking heating.

Utter cunts. Ban China from producing temu crap and invest in nuclear. I'm the real environmentalist.

I love the snails, but Save The Snails is always about getting that plot of land declared a wetland so the owner can't develop it, backed by the asshole who owns the plot of land up the road. It's never about saving the snails.

I recall Ron! got some traction on good efforts in Florida by rebranding it as "conservation" and "conserving wild lands" and stuff like that.

At the risk of sounding retarded I have to ask what's with all the Jew bashing here?
Standard brainwashing victim response. They learn they were lied to by the large group they deeply support, then cope with the first, other major 'secret power' they can rationalize. It's a cyclical thing I've personally witnessed after: Bush 1, Bush 2-3, Obama 1-2, Trump 1, Biden, and Trump 2.

The post-Obama spike was so large, it spawned a label 'alt-right.' That cycle was particularly bad as Obama supporters like Null, and Richard Spencer, bought the 'we're just Americans' hype, voted for him, then got race riots, and 'fuck white people' Federal policy. It also fed into the current cycle, and found synergy with the current 'pendulum swing' toward full on protectionism, and standard 'Palestinian' dead kid propaganda they always use after starting shit, to make us bribe Israel into stop killing the ghetto niggers of the Arab race.

Been seeing a lot of the following on twitter/reddit.

"If Trump gers his way your North Face jacket will be $2000 and your degenerate rapper endorsed Nike sneakers will be $500!"

Well good news nigger I don't buy moronic luxury status products because I am not a mindless consumerist niggercattle drone.

You don't. There's a prewash in the normal cycle just for that reason
I don't know what's on your plates (a few drops of vegetable broth?) but I have never seen anything short of an industrial dishwasher that could actually deal with bits of food still on the dishes--and you still rinse dishes before putting them in an industrial dishwasher!

I don't think there all digital bots but there are a few biobots. I've seen paraphrases and flat out plageristic quotations in some of the posts.
