Usually in the US you have to put up an appeal bond if you're going to do this so you don't just burn all of the awarded money and waste the court's time. Would Australia have something similar? Would it also apply to lawyer fees? The judge said he would prefer if they'd agree on lawyer fees the day of the ruling and I assume that karl is going to drag that out too.
