Wait… Italians make guns now? My god. This is more devastating than knowing we gave the Irish the status of being white.
They've got the market on reproductions of wild west guns and the high end shotgun market cornered. You want a nice shotgun? almost certainly going to be Italian. Beretta, FAIR, B. Rizzini, Abbiatico & savenelli, Cosmi ETC.

I politely disagree with you on this. As much as I like to mock the Chinese, the CCP, and Xi Jinping himself, he will go down in history as a great man. In 1990, China was a backwater nothing. By 2010, they became an economic near-peer to the United States.
Xi was given power in 2013.
The main issue with Trump's plan is you have to be a patriot to agree with it. Xi is betting that not enough of us are.
That's the fuckup, I get it's an early call, but the way Trump is picking up Democrats signals that protectionism is part of the "endorse breathing air" strategy.

Waiting this one out, is the absolutely the last thing to do if you care about money/power.

I am guessing it will fail.

It takes several years to build a factory, not even including sourcing new materials, rerouting supply chains, and training and employing people.

There are tariffs on the raw materials, so the sourcing of raw materials will need to be done domestically. There is no infrastructure to source these materials so that will need to be done before any factory to actually produce a good is built.

Trump is a fucking idiot.
Without powerleveling too much, I work in manufacturing and people have an exaggerated idea of how hard it is to manufacture stuff. One of our products we manufacture in China OR in the USA depending on raw material costs and it's fluctuating all the time. We can easily just make it here instead if the tariff shit keeps going. We literally just start making it here, with the infrastructure we already have, which is nowhere near full capacity.

I can only talk about my little corner of the manufacturing world, but there are a lot of factories here that have been running at 75% capacity for years and could go to 100% in maybe 2 or 3 weeks.

I don't doubt your experience but that is under pre-tariff circumstances. Now every industry will try to do the same. The supply of raw materials will not be able to keep up with the demand of every firm trying to reindustrialize their particular industry.

wow you telling me the loser idiot on the internet who does nothing but whine about orange man all days has no idea about what working in manufacturing is actually like? Say it ain’t so.

Alright! My weeklong ban for talking about Stargate is over. That means STARGATE IS BACK ON THE MENU!
Anyone not rating this post informative is a fag.
Epstein and his pedophile banker CEO buddies sent your jobs over to China and told you to buy a plasma TV for cheap.
Strange way to describe the political argument trade normalization with China would politically moderate them, and offer a future market.
Maybe try CSPAN from the 1990's?

"If China also increases tariffs to 104%, the prices of American goods including Apple and Tesla will soar, and Chinese will pay a greater price for their favourite American goods."
Both Teslas and iPhones are made in China, so they’re not subject to tariffs.

and fancy deli meats.
They may take my life, but they won't take Pop's Moon's Palace.
I think it's hilarious all of these women who undoubtably bragged to their friends about how they sucked [insert rock star]'s cock under a table immediately ran out screaming DIS HAPPEN! when #MeToo came around.

Whatever would give them the most attention.
The fact that Asia Argento, one of the creators of #MeToo, got caught red-handed fucking an underage boy she had known since he was 7, and nothing happened to her really did a number on the legitimacy of that movement.
Xi was given power in 2013.
Fair enough, but Xi was still highly active in the party prior to Hu Jintao's "retirement." I don't think it's fair to say he's a bumbling apparatchik.

We'll all find out what happens soon enough. I'm definitely in favor of Trump than Biden's horseshit "Green New Deal."
I will believe it when I see it.

This nigger thinks that supply chains work on Paradox Victoria 2 logic, lmao.
