I believe this as well. Nick's smart enough to know that bringing her to the ER with a coke OD would have triggered a CPS investigation and wanted to avoid that at all costs. Ironically, he didn't do the logical move, which was to remove drugs from his home, and later got the CPS investigation anyway. Does anyone remember the date of that stream when he discusses it? I believe it was before he met April and Aaron.
